Youth Law Academy Application 
Thank you for your interest in the Youth Law Academy!

The Youth Law Academy serves Oakland students to help them gain a better understanding of the U.S. legal system, college entrance requirements, careers in Law, and civic responsibility. The Youth Law Academy is designed to motivate students and enhance the academic skills necessary for success throughout high school and beyond. Students learn about exciting topics in ethic studies and even conduct a mock trial.

THIS APPLICATION IS FOR CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY! NO COLLEGE STUDENTS OR ADULTS WILL BE CONSIDERED.  

Classes normally meet once per week from 5-7pm at our office in the Fruitvale Village. There is no cost to participate in the Youth Law Academy!

 CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:

1) Currently attending an Oakland High School AND currently residing in Oakland;

2) Candidate must know they want to attend college upon high school graduation;

3) Candidate must be self-initiated and committed to completing program requirements.
