The Youth Law Academy (YLA) is a legal diversity initiative of Centro Legal de la Raza. Each year we work with dozens of high school and college age students, providing programming designed to cultivate their interest in pursuing careers in law.

The YLA is currently seeking summer internship placements for our pipeline students at local law firms. Summer internships provide a vital window for underrepresented students into the legal workplace and are a key component of our pipeline model.

Our minimum requirements for placements are a minimum 100 hour commitment and a minimum of $15.06/hr to interns. Students are generally available from June through August - individual schedules can be worked out between students and sites.
