Hello everyone,
Having completed one year at R.I.T, I'm attempting to create a new major here on campus reflecting my personal interest and the growing demand in the area of robotics as a whole. In taking this Engineering & Computer Science-based major, several classes from the Departments of Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering would be included in the overall course load. The major as a whole will focus on students developing practical skills in Artificial Intelligence, Control of Robotics Systems, Computer Vision, Mechanical Design and other areas.
If you are even somewhat interested in having this major at R.I.T in the near future, whenever you're free, please take the time to review this proposed major and survey in its entirety. If there are enough students who want to major in Robotics at R.I.T we can make Robotics as a major available to everyone on campus.
