How to Set-Up an Edublog:
- Go to Edublog
- Click on the green Free account box.
- Create a user name and input a password and email. Any email account you previously have will work.
- Create a blog name: First name and class
- Once the blog is created, proceed to your “Dashboard.” A link is generally at the top of the page.
- On the menu on the left hand side, scroll down to find “Users.” Click “Add New”
- Add either Mr. Rott’s email (drott@ttsd.k12.or.us) or Mrs. Childers (schilders@ttsd.k12.or.us) in the email box as a subscriber.
- Go back to the menu on the left hand side and find “Settings.” Click on “Discussion.”
- Under “Before a comment appears” un-select both boxes: “An Administrator...” and “Comment author....”
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Save Changes”
- Select a theme for your blog by clicking on “Appearance” in the menu on the left hand side.
