Set up Edublog

How to Set-Up an Edublog:

  1. Go to Edublog
  2. Click on the green Free account box.
  3. Create a user name and input a password and email.  Any email account you previously have will work.
  4. Create a blog name: First name and class
  5. Once the blog is created, proceed to your “Dashboard.”  A link is generally at the top of the page.
  6. On the menu on the left hand side, scroll down to find “Users.”  Click “Add New”
  7. Add either Mr. Rott’s email (drott@ttsd.k12.or.us) or Mrs. Childers (schilders@ttsd.k12.or.us) in the email box as a subscriber.
  8. Go back to the menu on the left hand side and find “Settings.”  Click on “Discussion.”
  9. Under “Before a comment appears” un-select both boxes: “An Administrator...” and “Comment author....”
  10. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Save Changes”
  11. Select a theme for your blog by clicking on “Appearance” in the menu on the left hand side.
