RECIPE  for Fresh Bibimbap

INGREDIENTS

Fancy style:

Carrots, Shredded

Red Leaf Lettuce  

English Cucumber

Bulgogi Meat (See Bulgogi marinade recipe below)

Mung Bean Sprouts

Carrots, Shredded

Red Leaf Lettuce (or romaine lettuce)

English Cucumber

Ground beef (See Bulgogi marinade recipe below)

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Marinate the bulgogi meat first and let it sit for about 20 min. Then cook the meat.

2.  Cut the Red Leaf lettuce into long strips.

3.  Julian Slice the Cucumbers.(Use the medium size blade for Japanese slicers)

4.  Make two kinds of sauce (see the recipe below)

5.  Fry the eggs sunny side up.

6.  Arrange all the vegetables and meat on top of the rice and place the egg in the middle, then serve with the sauce.

RECIPE  for Bulgogi Marinade(this is for 30 servings)

INGREDIENTS

 

  Fancy style:

  * 2 1/2 cup soy sauce

    * 1 2/3 cup sugar

    * 2/3 cup sesame oil

    * 4 cloves garlic, minced

    * 4  green onions, minced

    * 1/3 cup toasted sesame seeds

    * 2 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

 

Economical style:

1 cup soy sauce

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced

1 teaspoon black pepper

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Fancy style:

1.  Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

2.  Slice the beef to long strips.

3.  Mix the meat and the marinade, then leave chilled for about 20 min before pan frying.

Economical style:

1.  Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

2. Cook ground beef until almost done and then drain out yhe fat juices in strainer.

3. Then finish cooking ground beef, adding in the marinade sauce.

RECIPE  for Spicy sauce

INGREDIENTS

Fancy style:

  • 1 cup Gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1/3 cup water

Economical style:

  • Gochujang
  • 7-Up soda, 2 Liter bottle

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Fancy style:

1. Mix the ingredients together until sugar is dissolved.  

Economical style:

Mix Gochujang with 7-Up soda (2 Liter bottle) until a good consistency.

RECIPE  for Soy Sauce based sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • ½ tablespoon green onions (finely chopped)

( 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, 1 teaspoon black pepper can also be added)

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mix the ingredients together.

RECIPE  for Miso Soup

INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken Broth
  • Miso Paste
  • Green onions
  • Tofu
  • Water 10 cups(30 servings)
  •             3 cups(10 servings)

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Boil Chicken broth with water.

2. Add the Miso Paste to taste.

3. Add Tofu (cubed to bite size) and bring to boil.

4. Serve with little bit of green onions (finely chopped)
