College Entrance Exams:
- ACT (American College Testing)
Purpose is to provide Minnesota graduates information related to career and college readiness
- 11th Grade: February 20, 2019 (Makeup Test: March 12)
- PRE-ACT
- 9th & 10th Grade: February 20, 2019
- Preliminary SAT (PSAT): The PSAT(or National Merit Qualifying Test) is a preliminary test for the SAT. Not only does the PSAT help prepare students to take the SAT or ACT, a great score on the PSAT can also open the door to National Merit Scholarships and other awards. The PSAT(a timed test) measures: critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills,and writing skills. The test costs $17 (checks payable to KMHS). Only a limited number of tests are left so if a junior is interested in taking the test they must sign up in the Guidance Office by September 11, 2018.

Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA-III):
- Purpose is to measure academic achievement on the Minnesota Academic Standards and measure academic progress of students over time.
- Required by Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and Minnesota Statutes 120B.30
- Individual Student Reports will be sent to parents before fall conferences
Reading (TESTING WINDOW: March 4 - May 3)
Elementary School: April 1st - 12th
Middle School:
- Grade 5-6: April 8-12
- Grade 7-8: April 1-5
Grade 10: April 22 - 25
