Signing In to the Blue Dog Portal with Blackbaud ID

Each parent/guardian/consultant and student will have their own assigned login that must be Registered first in order to access the Portal. Students will receive their login shortly before school begins. Parents must have their own unique email address in order to access bIlling and financial items on their student’s record.

1. You will receive an email communication from Rumsey Hall Blue Dog Portal with a Blackbaud ID invitation. Click Accept Invitation to complete your account Registration with your Gmail or other email provider address.

2. A new window will appear asking you to login, if you provided a Gmail address, please select “Sign in/up with Google”, and then choose the Gmail account that received the BBID invitation from Rumsey. JUMP to Step 6. If the email you provided is NOT a Gmail address, please instead continue to Step 3.

3. Parents that do NOT have a Gmail address will instead be prompted to Create a Blackbaud ID. Enter your email address and complete the account by clicking “Sign Up”.

4. You will then be prompted to verify by checking your inbox for a message form Blackbaud ID.

5. After verifying, enter your email address once more in the provided Username field and then click Next. You will then be brought to the Blackbaud ID login screen where you will enter your created password and finally access the Blue Dog Portal by clicking SIgn In button (NOT the Google one)

6. After successfully logging in, the Parent homepage will appear with access to Student information. Important tasks may include reviewing Official Notes, Accepting a School Decision, reviewing School Forms and Signing Enrollment Contracts.

7. Forgot Password or Locked Out?

If you login sporadically with a over 100 days of lapse, your account may become locked, please reach out to the tech@rumseyhall.org for support. If you are a non-gmail user and forget your password, please enter your email in the login screen and click Next:

On the following screen click Forgot Password? In the bottom left. This will initiate a verification process and reset link:

8. All future login access for the Blue Dog Portal can be found on our website by clicking the Parents Tab and then on the Blue Dog Portal button.
