Saint Louis University presents honorary degrees to recognize individuals who, through their personal and professional endeavors, have made significant contributions to their professions and society. Nominations should include evidence of the following:
- The candidate’s achievements or accomplishments that have contributed to the improvement of humankind and examples of how his or her life represents the essence of service in the Jesuit tradition.
- The candidate’s public perception and reputation.
- The candidate’s previous honors, awards and academic degrees.
- You may also nominate the candidate to speak at the Spring Commencement ceremony.
