Description

 

With recent cuts made to the arts in BC, now is the time to showcase innovative media-arts projects and demonstrate it's contribution to the innovative economy.  Artists from diverse backgrounds like film, visual arts, performance, and sound are invited to weigh in on the role of art in shaping public discourse and to discuss how the recent arts funding cuts have impacted their communities.  This workshop is more than a discussion, it's a breeding ground for solutions, innovation and the creation of an ongoing movement to cultivate a vibrant artistic community and to create opportunities and spaces for the creation of art.
