Course Cost
Terms of Course Listing:
The GlobalClassroom community allows course authors to list a course price in courses so that it may be sold to the public through
- public search/URLs;
- branded eSchool catalogs; and
- in the community marketplace available to all registered and logged in users.
By entering a course price here you are opting into and agreeing to a course sales process facilitated by GlobalClassroom's proprietary catalog system and PayPal's secure monetary transaction system.
To list a course for sale simply enter your price in the field provided. All amounts should be listed in USD. You may list any price*.
Any course with a price listed will be displayed users (who have not already joined the course) using a default course catalog listing page**. This includes information about the facilitator, cost, dates the course is offered and the full course description. We want you to be successful, so providing detailed information about your course, including an outline, refund/drop/add policy, pre-requisites, content level, your back ground, whether or not its facilitated (is the course self paced or directed?) and the duration is highly recommended.
GlobalClassroom will collect 10% of course registration as a fee for hosting, facilitating student services and the course registration and enrollment process. Additional fees may apply depending on the nature of the course offering, i.e. through our Import/Export program where fees vary. This fee is non-refundable.
As GlobalClassroom's community grows, we reserve the right to organize and index any courses offered publicly in the GlobalClassroom network or elsewhere in order to facilitate additional course sales throughout the community.
Terms of collection and disbursement:
All payments collected are done so securely through a PayPal Business account and using X which provides our site certification.
All funds will be accrued and disbursed monthly unless otherwise arranged with a GlobalClassroom staff member. More frequent disbursements (weekly, semimonthly, etc.) may require an additional fee per disbursement.
*GlobalClassroom is committed to quality control of courses and content on this network.
**Even if you provide a course password as well, with a price listed students can ONLY register via the GlobalClassroom, Paypal option or by your hand through the manual assignment or roles using the courses Assign Role interface.
