Free Form Crochet Necklace Thursday, September 3 6-8 $30
Use a basic Crochet stitch to make an eye - popping necklace. We have kits in lots of color choices, or you can design your own. Preparation before class is required. Students should already know the Wrapped Loop technique. Instructor: Sue Schwartzenberger

Turtle Soup Beads Trunk Show
Susan Bailey of Turtle Soup Beads is an internationally known bead artist who sells her polymer clay beads world wide - from Michigan (her home state,) throughout the United States, to across the world - including a large following of customers in Japan.
Many of her finished pieces of jewelry have won competitions. Her opulent pieces are always swathed in her colorful beads. Susan says that, “Since my polyclay beads are so very light, I like to use an abundance of beads in my jewelry designs. The result is a light, striking piece of jewelry.” Come early to have the best selection of these incredible beads!
Poor Woman’s Tennis Bracelet Sunday, September 13 11:30-1:30 $30
This dainty bracelet project is the perfect introduction to Right Angle Weave. Make several in your favorite crystal color and stack them on your wrist. Consider taking this class first if you are planning on taking the Angle Bangle on October 24th. Instructor: Elizabeth Thompson
Stretchy Cuff Thursday, September 17 6-8 $30
Many of you have asked for a project made with elastic thread, so here it is! Contrary to popular belief, one size does NOT fit all, but with the proper fit, this is one of the most comfortable bracelets to wear. Instructor: Sue Schwartzenberger

Hager Studios Lampwork Bead Show
After just one look at Susan Matych-Hager’s beads (Hager Studios), it is no wonder why her beads and finished jewelry pieces have won competitions such as the Convergence: Contemporary Design with Art-Glass Beads (sponsored by International Society of Glass Bead Makers & Bead and Button Magazine). Susan’s beads have also recently appeared in Bead & Button magazine.
Her beautiful focal beads, along with the fabulous companion pieces, do sell out fast, so please come early.
For days when you just have to flaunt it, or for wearing during an evening out on the town, this necklace will make a statement! This necklace requires an investment of time, but the techniques are easy enough for a determined beginner. Instructor: Sue Schwartzenberger

Directional stitching of the base encourages the lavish strands to flow away from the luxurious center section of this sparkly gem of a bracelet. Previous seed bead work is helpful. Instructor: Sue Schwartzenberger
Sweet Endings Thursday, October 8 6-8 $30
Do you have some partially finished projects languishing on your work table because you do not know how to finish them? Bring them to class and we’ll figure out the best solution. You will also learn a sliding knot clasp, how to pull together multiple strands, and how to shape a simple S-hook. Instructor: Sue Schwartzenberger
Basic Wire Bangle Saturday, October 10 10:30-2:30 $45
Learn basic wire-wrapping techniques and take home a finished bangle. You can choose sterling or 14K gold-filled wire, or combine them so you can wear this bangle with everything! Instructor: Dave Miller

Do not let the word “knitting” put you off - Viking Knitting is actually a weaving technique! Fun and fast, so you will probably want to make several of these! Clean and crisp designs, incredible color combinations, and a great price point have made Sandra Helm of Buckaroo Beads a favorite among our customers for a while now. The world will soon discover her, and her beads, as they will be a featured part of The Challenge in the February/March, 2010, issue of Beadwork.
Be sure to arrive early to this trunk show! The last time Sandra was here, there was a lot of “friendly fighting” between customers over her beads! This is a great opportunity to pick out artisan beads to make unique holiday and hostess gifts.
