Paying the Price
Sunday, November 8th
What is the root of all our barriers to experiencing the amazing love of God?
What is so destructive and yet can be so alluring? Sin. It always promises what
it cannot deliver and takes us where we never want to go. At Quest this week
you'll discover that in a relationship with God you don't have to be enslaved to
sin any longer. You'll be free to experience all that life has to offer!
We'll see you at the
Holiday Inn in Urbana for two worship gatherings at 9:30
and 11:07 a.m.

toward becoming a wholehearted follower of Christ. Upon completion of
the class, you will have an opportunity to sign our membership covenant
and become a fully participating member of our church family. Please RSVP

CPR Certification Class - THIS SATURDAY, RSVP Today!

Well here's your chance to be equipped to save the life of an infant, child, or
adult with CPR. Plus you'll have the fun of learning along side other Questers
and it's all at an extremely reduced cost! Because the number one priority of
Kingdom Quest's Children's Ministry is safety, Patti Wray has graciously
volunteered her CPR training skills to that ministry and to all of Quest so that
we might create a safer environment for all who attend our events. $20 covers
the cost of the book from the American Red Cross, your certification card, and
the priceless gift of saving a life. RSVP now, 5 spots are still available. If you are
interested or have questions, contact
Celina.
If you have volunteered at Quest in the past year, you are invited to the 2009
Volunteer Party. Email the
office to let us know whether or not you'll be coming
by Friday, 11/13. This year's theme is a murder mystery, and parts will be assigned
soon after that date.
Welcome, Baby James!
Congrats to Jen Rohn on the birth of her new baby, James. Yep, you heard it right - Jen's
adoption process has led her to bring home a brand new baby boy! So, she is going to
need food to keep her energized for those middle of the night feedings and all the work
a tiny baby entails. If you are interested in serving her by bringing a meal over to her
house please sign up using the website below. Use the username and password provided.
