What You Were Made For
Sunday, November 1st
More than anything else, God made you to love you. But do you feel the love of
God? If not, what are the barriers that are keeping you from experiencing God's
love? Join Quest this November as we'll be
Breaking Down the Barriers in the
spiritual life. This is a
can't miss series for you and all of your seeking friends.
Also this weekend,
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ends. Don't forget to set your
clock back one hour before going to bed Saturday night!
We'll see you at the
Holiday Inn in Urbana for two worship gatherings at 9:30
and 11:07 a.m.
New 2Q - This Sunday!
Following 11:07 service this Sunday, November 1st in Room 130 of the Holiday Inn"New 2 Q" is designed for you to get acquainted with our pastor (Andy) and a
few other regular attenders at Quest. It's also a great opportunity to ask questions
and hear about our vision for the future. RSVP by email to the
Quest Office.
Quest Membership Class

If you're interested in becoming a member of Quest or would simply like to
know more about our church, you will want to attend our Membership Class.
We believe this can be a meaningful way for you to take your "next step"
toward becoming a wholehearted follower of Christ. Upon completion of
the class, you will have an opportunity to sign our membership covenant
and become a fully participating member of our church family. Please RSVP
to
Andy if you plan to attend.

Baptism Sunday
Sunday, November 29th
Have you recently given your life to Christ? Are you ready to take a next step in faith
and go public about what God is doing in your life? If so, we want to hear from you!
Please contact
Andy regarding the possibility of being baptized or remembering your
baptism.

CPR Certification Class
8am Saturday, November 7th @ Urbana Civic CenterAre you prepared to step in to serve in case of a life-threatening emergency?
Well here's your chance to be equipped to save the life of an infant, child, or
adult with CPR. Plus you'll have the fun of learning along side other Questers
and it's all at an extremely reduced cost! Because the number one priority of
Kingdom Quest's Children's Ministry is safety, Patti Wray has graciously
volunteered her CPR training skills to that ministry and to all of Quest so that
we might create a safer environment for all who attend our events. $20 covers
the cost of the book from the American Red Cross, your certification card, and
the priceless gift of saving a life. RSVP now, 5 spots are still available. If you are
interested or have questions, contact
Celina.
If you have volunteered at Quest in the past year, you are invited to the 2009
Volunteer Party. Email the
office to let us know whether or not you'll be coming by
Friday, 11/13. This year's theme is a murder mystery, and parts will be assigned
soon after that date.
