Directions to Lake Helen

Start out by taking US 421 (MLK Dr) south out of town.

- Go south and take the first Liberty exit (about 18-20 miles south of downtown).

- At top of ramp turn left and go thru Liberty (don't speed);

- After going thru downtown Liberty you'll be on NC 49. From downtown go maybe 1.5 miles and be on the look out for Art's Town & Country Store on your right. (It's a great store if you wanna stop for a soda, some seeds for your garden or some horse feed.)

- Turn right at Art's.

- Follow this road out into the country and into Alamance Co. When you come to a stop sign (several miles) turn left onto Pleasant Hill Church Rd.

- Go a mile or so and turn Rt onto Old Dam Rd (it's the first road on the right after getting onto Pleasan Hill Ch. Rd )

- Follow Old Dam Rd unil you come to a stop sign (at Snow Camp Rd )

- Turn left onto Snow Camp Rd and go (a mile or so) to the first Rd on you right ( Clark Rd )

- Turn right and go about 1.5 miles to the dirt road on you left immediately across from a large microwave tower on you right.

- Stop at the automatic gate and key in the code (xxxx). The gate will open and close by itself.

- Drive in and look for my truck (white Nissan) parked in the woods on the right (about 300 yards from the gate).
