Balancing my desire for feedback and my sense of urgency for submitting something, I've gone ahead and submitted my application letter. I only received two bits of feedback in the 36+ hours this page was live, one f2f and one as a comment to a blog post. These were enough. Certainly, I'd hoped for more responses, but at least I know I wasn't totally just shouting into the wind.
