About Ramblings of a Texas Housewife
Nessa is a thirty year old full time wife and mom. She lives with her husband and two children, Tristen 13 and Ashley 12, in a rural Texas farming community. She has always loved writing, so it comes as no surprise that she enjoys blogging. She enjoys the blogspere, seeing it as great way to connect with other women who have common interests and backgrounds. Nessa has made countless good friends through blogging, both readers and fellow bloggers, and looks forward to making many more.

Ramblings of a Texas housewife was born after friends and family asked her how she used coupons to save her family money. After sharing many great coupon shopping tips,  she moved to a small town where the coupon shopping opportunities were few and far between. So, the focus of Ramblings shifted more to the adventures of a SAHM, frugal living, country life, and whatever is on her mind at any given moment. She also shares great deals she finds, as well as products she loves. Ramblings can be quite random! She refers to it as "Ramblings, recipes, reviews, and more...all with a Texas attitude".

The success of Ramblings led her to start a cooking blog, What's Cookin', where she shares all the scrumptious recipes she cooks up for her family. The two blogs helped her land a weekly column at HomeEverAfter.com called In the Kitchen With Nessa. In the kitchen is her favorite place to be and she enjoys sharing her love of cooking with others.

Blogging has also led her into a great relationship with numerous PR folks. She greatly enjoys doing product reviews and sharing her findings with Ramblings readers.  She also accepts advertising on her blogs. She is open to all sorts of public relations opportunities from product reviews to being a spokesperson for a product. She has become quite good at helping to publicize products and service she believes in. Companies she has worked with include Hammacher Schlemmer, PUR, TJ Maxx & Marshalls, Prevention, Feld Entertainment, and more. She welcomes all pitches from the great people in PR.
