Bake Sale

The UB-ALA bake sale will be held on Thursday October 29, 2009

If making treats please label them properly, use good hygiene, and put $ 1.00 worth of servings in each separate bag.

(Bake Sale has already happened; these notes are after the fact).

We are also selling left over books from the Gowanda library weeding trip that ALA had last year.

The money raised at the bake sale from the treats and the books we sold is going towards the Western New York Children’s Psychiatric Center.  The money will help buy books for their library.

There is a Clearfield Library book sale from November 14-18.  UB-ALA is going to make a field trip there to use the money from the bake sale to buy books for the Western New York Children’s Psychiatric Center. More details to come.

Wine and Cheese Soiree

There will be a Wine and Cheese Soiree at Elaine Dean’s House on Friday November 6th

If you are planning on attending please RSVP to Elaine at (ehdean at buffalo dot edu) by Tuesday November 3rd.   If directions are needed please ask for them when you RSVP and Elaine will get them to you.

Please bring your own wine/beverage.

When you visit a confidentiality paper must be signed.  There were pamphlets passed around about the WNYCPC and it included the WNYCPC’s mission, vision, and goals.  This information was from Sarah Crevelling’s (ALA President) visit to the WNYCPC.

There will be a cataloging day to help get the books donated from the book drive and the Clearfield library field trip on the shelves.  The date for this is still To Be Announced.
