in the Staples Youth Social Entrepreneur Competition.

Maxmin was recognized as Maine's top high school volunteer by the

OUTREACH
- 6/09: The
CAC collaborated with a school group to give a presentation to senior
citizens about going green. This will further strengthen our
inter-generational task force.
- 3/09: We
are working with the local elementary/middle school to help them
establish a NO IDLE policy. We have been trying to network with other
schools and groups to share experiences, ideas, and results. This is
part of our effort, and we are very excited!

hundreds of dollars (up to $20 per month) with about 73% energy
savings.
- 10/09: We spoke with the faculty at LA about turning off computers on nights and weekends and encouraging students to do the same.
