Taking a Stand

Daniel 3

1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

5  That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

8 Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.

9 They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:

11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.

14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well : but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that Elohim that shall deliver you out of my hands?

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

17 If it be so , our Elohim whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore  he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast  them into the burning fiery furnace.

21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

This Scriptural account has been a favorite of many to read and share with others.  It has as it were, a happily ever after ending!   YHWH joins them in the fire and the four men are not touched by fire or smoke and the result is that even the King himself not only acknowledges YHWH as The All Powerful Elohim, but commands all to never speak against HIM or they would face death.

What YHWH impressed on me this week, seeking His face, was about taking a stand.   There's an old expression I think it came from someone called Malcolm x, but it's not who wrote it but what it says that resonates deeply inside of me.

The expression is:

If you don't  stand for something, you'll fall for everything.

This verse is Scriptural, we'll see in a minute or two.

I've seen a surge of late of folks who simply have not taken a stand in faith on who YHWH is, and what it is they really have chosen to believe about Him and His anointed Son Yahushua.  Men and women who speak in the Name YHWH and of His Word.   Men and women who have taken a stand on their own knowledge and teach and lead others, encouraging them openly to follow them.  What that should be a signal alreayd, who do we follow anyways?

It's important to study and show yourself approved, rightfully dividing the Word of Truth, but that expression comes with instructions.

2Ti 2:15  Study to show thyself approved unto Elohim, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

We study not for the approval of man, nor to gain a following, we study seeking YHWH for wisdom for our only approval that is important is YHWH's approval.

Daniel and his 3 friends were not the first nor even close to the last who took a stand for their faith.   They were an exception to many.   Countless souls, have died as martyrs, slain brutally because they took a stand. Since Yahushua came, have you ever studied out how many people were killed defending their belief?  Why did they do this?    Studying out what each person believed as far as "religion" means nothing to me, what means something to me is that every religion had and has one thing in common.   The knowledge of One Creator, the realization of a desire of salvation through Him,  and of HIS great love and the realization of the freedom of choice to reach out to HIM and learn as His Spirit teaches and guides.

Why did our ancestors fight so hard to "keep the faith"? What makes you and I so determined to share our faith, no I didn't say religion, share our hope and faith with our children, our relatives our friends?  Why is it some do just the opposite?  Sharing mistrust, lack of hope and faith in the Word of YHWH?   The answer really is very simple, their faith has been built up as a result of the religions of man.

Each one of us takes stands.  We each take a stance on polictics, abortion, religions and ....even deeper, we take a stand using choice to even believe if YHWH does exist or if His Word really is truth.   Sounds horrific to some just saying that.   Truth is, everyone I've spoken to in life have questioned YHWH, questioned His Word, His existance.......it's what enabled them in reality to build faith!  Faith untested isn't faith.   Simple examples

Don't you take a car for a test drive before buying it?  Why?  You need to have faith it will run!

Do you buy a house without looking at it, asking questions, figuring out if it is worth it? Why, well you need to believe it is what you want to do.    Everyone needs faith.  Faith is belief, we all make decisions every single day based on what we believe about a product, about a news cast, about what we see, hear, taste, touch and smell.   We eat something because we believe we like it.   We wear what we wear and do our hair certain ways and buy shoes because we believe it's what we want.   It takes faith/belief to make every single decision that we make!

But today what I am sharing with you about my walk with YHWH is a little deeper than the everyday choices we make because of our beliefs on any product.   I'm talking today about inward stands.

I'm not talking choices of religion.   As far as choices go, my personal choice....is that I really dislike religions.  In the name of religion many atrocious crimes have been commited before YHWH, many thinking they are doing Him a service in their hatred!

What is it that we stand on inwardly?

Remember that quote shared earlier?

If you don't  stand for something, you'll fall for everything.

That is founded upon words found in Scripture.

1Co 10:12  Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

He who "thinks" he stands, take heed....that means pay attention, pay attention if you "think" you stand, lest you fall.

That verse is used often.   Let's look at the context in which it was spoken:

1 Corinthians 10

1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Moshiach.

5 But with many of them Elohim was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

9 Neither let us tempt Moshiach, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but Elohim is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Reading through the exodus of the Israelites we can know what taking stands on what men through was right in their own eyes brings forth.    The fruit of every single decision we make in life will determine life or death of that specific decision.   Where does unrest and lack of joy and hope come from? Where does misery come from? From something we planted, the seeds we plant the laws of reaping and sowing are simple yet complex truth.

If you check out self help groups, motivational speakers of any kind......the basis of their teachings is that one can have a good life, by the choices they make.   That's the law of reaping and sowing in simplicity.

The stand we have taken in this lifetime on any subject matter, will come with fruit.  Consider our life today the harvest of what we've planted thus far.

My husband wrote a song many years ago as he was seeking "truth"   Part of what was birthed during those deep moments of meditation and self introspection was a line that went like this:

Truth is truth, whether or not we choose to believe...

Might not sound like much to some, but ponder it.

If I choose to disbelieve the law of gravity, it wouldn't change that fact that gravity exists.    If I chose to disbelieve creation, it would not change the fact that creation exists.  As a matter of fact it  is ongoing daily and simple proof that everything in this life was created.  Just the very fact you can choose to agree or disagree with this statement is proof of a thought you created.  That creative ablity to choose, we all use it daily!

The examples left by the Israelites are for us today, for our admontion. That means they were shared not just as an interesting historical truth, but as a warning and rebuke to us today.  The things that happened can be listed very simply.   They chose to walk after their flesh nature.   That very nature every one of us wrestles with today. The desire as it were to be "our own boss" write our own rules, do it our own way.  The very same drive that Eve had in the garden when she was tempted.   Temptation isn't a sin, giving over to temptations is where sin comes in.   Eve didn't take a stand.   Notice, when she was "fed" a line she didn't test it against what she knew, she didn't take it to Adam the one she was created to be one with, no she acted out on her own.  Temptation comes in the flesh, remember what John called it.

1 john 2: 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of Elohim abideth for ever.

Where did you and I learn to take a stand?   YHWH never changes, His Spirit will never ever condradict HIS Word and will.......

All that is in the world....let's look at it, the lust of the flesh, we like it, feels good to us, makes sense to our natural mind so thus it fuels our appetite

The lust of the eyes, we see things that tempt us,  we want it, we get it.

The pride of life.   I'm just not going to accept anything anyone says, I've been given a brain for a reason, and I am going to use it to my own understanding.

Watch what happened to Eve:

    Gen 3:4  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

    Gen 3:5  For Elohim doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Gen 3:6  And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Can you see where her flesh, her eyes and the pride of live grabbed her?

Why did she fall?  She didn't take a stand!

Why are so many falling around us? Why look around us, why not look to ourselves?  Why do we falter? Why do we have doubts?   What was presented to us?
The whole reason I can ask these questions, and share as it were a challenge to each of you today is simple.  Opening my heart up with you today, not to teach anyone, rather simply to share along my journey on the road I walk in this life is a blessing from YHWH.

Why did I have questions? Why did I have doubts?  Why did fear and uncertainty creep in?  Where did pain come from?  Unrest?  lack of joy, lack of confidence?

It came from me dropping my stand!  It came from me being no different than Eve at all!  Presented with things that would whet my fleshly appetite.  My pride, wow that thing is powerful!   We don't have anything on Eve, as a matter of fact, Eve is blessed she didn't have internet!  Can you imagine?   From the tree of the knowledge of good and evil no one was to eat, well, that tree has not disappeared, nor the yearning burning desire to eat of it.

Ask yourself this.......when I had doubts, fears, when I even began to wonder if YHWH was who the Bible says He is, did Yahushua really come to this earth already, did He really do what the Bible says?  Do I have faith? Is there something wrong with me that I don't seem as grounded as that brother or sister?  What about all the stuff out there that contradicts things written in the Bible? What about, what if, how come.........

All those questions are nibbles, bites, and eventually after a mouthful of nibbles and bites, one must swallow.

Every watch fishing?  I used to spend countless hours as a teen fishing.   I got so used to it, that once that fish even brushed against the hook I could feel it.  Then excitement began to mount as it nibbled......and one quick perfect timed YANK! And it was hooked!  Hook line and sinker .......ever hear that expression? Well sometimes that fish got greedy and didn't just take a little nibble, but would swallow that hook with the line and sinker too!

That's us, our ego is so powerful that we are quick to swallow those teachings that appeal to our flesh, our eyes and the pride of life.  Not one of us is different for each of us walks in this flesh nature.  We all bite, we all swallow.

What happened to our stand?

Why don't we have a solid stand?   What pulls us away from our stand?  Our own pride.

Watch a simple demonstration.

If you've made a quality decision to never listen to gossip, than nobody will ever entice you to think evil of anyone for you simply won't partake in gossip and slander about them.  Whether that be your spouse, your children your friend.......right?   If you ever let your guard down, and did listen, notice how easy it was to doubt your spouse, your children your friends?   A "ahem" well meaning brother or sister comes to you and says the typical.......I'm not into gossip BUT>>>>>we need to pray for sister this or brother that as he is invovled in sin.  Ha, forgetting that one of the things YHWH HATES, yes HATES it when we gossip!  So we excuse our sin to talk about someone else's and the silly thing is most often what we pass along ends up being hear say! THat's what most gossip is.

That said.......once we did listen.......if you are anything like me, something in me changes, I'm wary if you will, or doubtful, or not trusting, not sure of the exact word, but do you know what I am talking about? You just never quite feel the same about the person as you did before listening to the gossip?

It is EXACTLY the same with worse consequences when we let someone, some teaching, have us have doubts about YHWH, about Yahushua.

The consequences are worse because without faith, what do we have?   Sure man will tell you YHWH never lies, but what's written about Him is lies.

Where's our stand?

Here's a good question to ask ourselves.

How did Eve feel after biting?   How do you and I feel after biting?   What satisfaction came? Spiritual or physical?   Can we smite ourselves in the chest and brag on how bright we are?  How "we" came to some better truth?  Who's name is mentioned most?  Possible, Me me me, I I I?  Did I draw closer to YHWH or in reality did I draw closer to self?   Oh we can be so vain!   So easily puffed up in our quest for knowledge and truth, because the stark reality is, when we go on our quests for truth, we need that truth to line up with our finite brain!  The things we grasp at have to match our natural way of reasoning and thinking.   And off we go separating ourselves from those once loved as their pedastels slowly sink....or is it that our's have been pushed so high up?

That's a stand?

As I brought forth to YHWH each question, and there is nothing wrong with asking HIM questions!  I realized that I had to answer something too.  Something YHWH had shown me before I let slide!

Remember when Adam and Eve hid?  Remember what YHWH asked them?

WHO TOLD YOU YOU WERE NAKED?

When I question YHWH, a question comes back to me.  Who told me?  What voice did i listen to? What did I follow?  Why on earth did I persist listening when I felt unrest?  Why did I follow the teachings of any man? Men claim to care for our souls........but can they save us?  Men claim to have answers, but since when did they write the test?   I heard a neat line on a youtube video that sis Witty shared.   A man said, YHWH, I've let you down so much.   The reply was, "You were never holding me up to begin with".

If you take a bite of food at your table or anyone's table and you get an instant sick feeling, do you keep pushing the food in?  Or do you excuse yourself and spit out that bite stuffed in your cheek?   Why do we insist on swallowing teachings of man even when we realize initially they made us sick?   We felt the unrest, we felt nausious, but.........our flesh pushed us on, we had heartburn but we pushed it aside and kept eating until we were full and lost our taste for truth?

We didn't take a stand!

I'm not disencouraging anyone to study! Not in the least!  My encouragement is rather, to seek YHWH for wisdom and not man.  Man's wisdom is NOT YHWH's.

1 cor 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of Elohim in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which Elohim ordained before the world unto our glory:

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Master of glory.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which Elohim hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But Elohim hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of Elohim.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of Elohim knoweth no man, but the Spirit of Elohim.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of Elohim; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of Elohim.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Spirit teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of Elohim: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16 For who hath known the mind of the Master, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Moshiach.

The spirit of YHWH placed within us draws us, teaches us, guides us.   Our natural man simply cannot grasp the things of YHWH, yet how is it that we think to test out "truth" by mulling things over with in natural man?  We end up in one of those circles.   Remember the commercial, can't get a job because I don't have experience, can't get experience because I don't have a job?  Well we can't get understanding because we don't use the mind of Ha Moshiach, we don't use the mind of Ha moshich because we don't have understanding.  And we end up totally confusing ourselves.

When we can't separate anymore between the wisdom of man and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit it's because we've been listening to self and letting that voice be heard so often that we tune out YHWH's Spirit.

But that only happens when we don't take a stand.

Do remember that on "Whom or What" we take a stand on is going to develope our character.  What is our foundation? In Whom is our foundation? YHWH did not go silent since the days of Ezra and Nehemiah. Long ago, men moved by YHWH wrote down what we many call "the old testament".   Who moves us today? When we listen or read instructions, teachings, opinions of others, can you rightly discern if the Spirit of YHWH brought forth the message or the opinion of man?   If we are hearing silence, it's because of our listening not YHWH's speaking.  YHWH's perfect plan of fulfilment can only be completed in us when we stop building up self, and stop listening to our ego, stop guiding ourselves and leading others into ditches.  Where is our hope?   In Whom?  If we have doubts, may cast them out along with that which caused our doubts, for YHWH is not the author of confusion at all!  With Him there is quiet rest and joy.

I'm going to read a warning from the Word:

    2Pe 2:1  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

    2Pe 2:2  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

    2Pe 2:3  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

    2Pe 2:4  For if YHWH spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

    2Pe 2:5  And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

    2Pe 2:6  And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

    2Pe 2:7  And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

    2Pe 2:8  (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

    2Pe 2:9  YHWH knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

    2Pe 2:10  But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

    2Pe 2:11  Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before YHWH.

    2Pe 2:12  But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

    2Pe 2:13  And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

    2Pe 2:14  Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

    2Pe 2:15  Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

    2Pe 2:16  But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

    2Pe 2:17  These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

    2Pe 2:18  For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

    2Pe 2:19  While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

    2Pe 2:20  For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Master and Saviour Yahushua ha Moshiach they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

    2Pe 2:21  For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

2Pe 2:22  But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

I know that was a long passage, yet a great admonition!  Watch what YHWH has to say, listen to HIS voice,

Isa 57:15  For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones

I spoke of reaping and sowing.....look at that verse we just read again.

Are you revived today?

Think  on that a moment.  Revival.   Something had to be there to be re.....vived.

You need to have had "vive" to be "re" vived.   Revive in the concordances means life.   Revive is to be quickened inside, a new surge of hope and joy and trust!

Seeking YHWH brings revival, it secures our stand!

We read a verse earlier,

1 Cor 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Moshiach.

Are we drinking that same spiritual drink? Living waters from Messiah?  Standing upon the Rock, THE ROCK Yahushua?   YHWH said, on THIS ROCK will I build my assembly, what rock? Yahushua!  HalleluYAH!!

The rock we drink from, the living waters that stream forth can only come from the Living One, the Eternal one, the Great One, the Only Eternal One, our Heavenly Father, all other sources ..........are of the source Eve bit from.   What fuels our appetite to seek truth?  Be honest with ourselves.  To grow in our own wisdom and understanding? Or to realize just how small we are, and how great our need is for YHWH and for HIM alone to give us understanding?

We need to take a stand somewhere, we all do!   What is the purpose of our stand?

To feed the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life?

Or do we realize that not one of those things need feeding, and that all that in us needs to be put to death?

If so, our hunger and thirsting after righteousness will be fulfilled when we seek YHWH and HIS righteousness even as our Master Yahushua taught us.  Draw from His wisdom, to spend time alone with YHWH.  Alone means without anything man invented.  You and I, alone with YHWH, seeking HIM.   Take a stand to learn from YHWH alone, there is no confusion there.  There is no unrest, there is.....

    Isa 32:17  And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Isa 32:18  And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

I encourage you........take a stand today!  Don't be tossed about by anyone, any man's teachings.

I getting close to done with this precious passage:

2 Peter 1

1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Yahushua Moshiach, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of Elohim and our Saviour Yahushua Moshiach:

2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of Elohim, and of Yahushua our Master,

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Master Yahushua Moshiach.

9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Master and Saviour Yahushua Moshiach.

    12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth..

    I know that each of you knows all that I shared, I've taught nothing, I didn't wish to teach anything, rather, simply.....

    but you always in remembrance of YHWH's word, through ye know them.....to be established in the present truth.....for that my family is

    what taking a stand is all about.

    Rev 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

    Rev 3:21  To him that overcometh (who takes a stand) will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

    Rev 3:22  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

    Eph 6:14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

    Eph 6:15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

    Eph 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

    Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of YHWH:

    Eph 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
