Shabbat Message 6-13-09

7 Days Without YHWH Makes One Weak

Psa 19:1-14  To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of Elohim; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.  (2)  Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge.  (3)  There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.  (4) Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,  (5)  Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.  (6)  His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.  (7) The law of YHWH is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of YHWH is sure, making wise the simple. (8) The statutes of YHWH are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of YHWH is pure, enlightening the eyes.  (9)  The fear of YHWH is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of YHWH are true and righteous altogether.  (10) More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.  (11) Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.  (12) Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.  (13) Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.  (14)  Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O YHWH, my strength, and my redeemer.

7 Days Without YHWH Makes One Weak!

or

What did I do with YHWH This Week?

1Jn 1:1-6  That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;  (2)  (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)  (3)  That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son YHWSHUA Messiah.  (4)  And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.  (5)  This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that YHWH is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  (6)  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

Spending Time Hearing From YHWH

Reading the Word..

2Ti 3:16  All Scripture that is given by inspiration of YHWH,  is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Mar 12:24  And YHWSHUA answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the Scriptures, neither the power of YHWH?

Heb 4:12  For the word of YHWH is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Joh 10:35  ... the Scripture cannot be broken;

2Pe 1:19-21  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:  (20)  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation.  (21)  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but Set Apart men of YHWH spake as they were moved by the Set Apart Spirit.

Psa 119:97-104  O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.  (98)  Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.  (99)  I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.  (100)  I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.  (101)  I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.  (102)  I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.  (103)  How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!  (104)  Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

2Sa 23:2  The Spirit of YHWH spoke by me, and his word was in my tongue.

Rom 15:4-5  For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.  (5)  Now the Elohim of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Messiah YHWSHUA:

Psa 19:7-11  The law of YHWH is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of YHWH is sure, making wise the simple.

Meditating...

Gen 24:63  And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming.

Jos 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Psa 1:1-3  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the unrighteous, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  (2)  But his delight is in the law of YHWH; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  (3)  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psa 5:1  To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O YHWH, consider my meditation.

Psa 19:14  Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O YHWH, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psa 49:3  My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

Psa 63:5-7  My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:  (6)  When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.  (7)  Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

Psa 91:1  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Prayer

Prayer of Supplication (Needs) - Psa 30:8  I cried to thee, O YHWH; and unto YHWH I made supplication.

1Ki 8:38-39  What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:  (39)  Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)

1Th 5:18  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of YHWH in Messiah YHWSHUA concerning you.

Prayer of Confession (When we have wronged YHWH or a Brother) - 1Ki 8:33  When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house:

1Jn 1:6-9  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  (7)  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of YHWSHUA Messiah his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  (8)  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  (9)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Note: This is a comparative phrase! Make sure that it is read that way... (e.g., "A soft answer turneth away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger" Prov 15:1)

Prayer of Consecration (Commitment) - Luk 22:41-43  And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,  (42)  Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.  (43)  And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

Praying the Word..

Mar 11:22-24  And YHWSHUA answering saith unto them, Have faith in YHWH.  (23)  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.  (24)  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Always make your affirmations present tense! Speak it as already done!

NO! - There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

YES! - No evil befalls me, neither does and plague come near my dwelling!

Believe what you are saying.. See it as done!

Say your affirmations with passion, the higher your emotional state as you say them, the more effective they are.

Psa 91:1-16  As I dwell in the secret place of the most High I abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  (2)  I will say of YHWH, He is my refuge and my fortress: my Eloim; in him do I trust.  (3)  Surely He delivers me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.  (4)  He covers me with his feathers, and under his wings do I trust: his truth is my shield and buckler.  (5)  I AM not afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;  (6)  Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.  (7)  A thousand fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it does not come nigh me.  (8)  Only with my eyes do I behold and see the reward of the wicked.  (9)  Because I have made YHWH, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation;  (10)  No evil befalls me, neither does any plague come near my dwelling.  (11)  For he gives his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.  (12) They bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.  (13)  I tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon I trample under feet  (14)  Because I have set my love upon me, therefore HE delivers me: HE sets me on high, because I know HIS Name (power).  (15)  I call upon YHWH, and HE answers me: HE is with me in trouble; HE delivers me, and honors me.  (16)  With long life HE satisfies me, and shows me HIS deliverance.

Rom 8:14-17  I am led by the Spirit of YHWH, I am a Son of YHWH.  (15) I have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but I have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby I cry, Abba, Father.  (16) The Spirit itself beareth witness with my spirit, that I AM a Son of YHWH:  (17)  I AM a child of YHWH, an heir of YHWH, and joint-heirs with Messiah; because I suffer with Him, and I am being glorified together with Him.

Rom 8:35-39  Nothing can separate me from the love of Messiah! Neither tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword  (36)  As it is written, For HIS sake I AM killed all the day long; I AM accounted as a sheep for the slaughter.  (37) In all these things I AM more than a conqueror through him that loves me.  (38)  I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  (39)  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, can separate me from the love of YHWH, which is in Messiah YHWSHUA my Master.
