John Chinneck Retires as Titans Webmaster, Titans Welcome Rob Long as New Co-Webmaster

A big thanks to John Chinneck for his valued contribution as webmaster for the Titans. John came on board at a key time, as we were thinking about redesigning our website. He worked with Nicola Vulpe and co-webmaster Greg Sidebottom to design and deliver the website we are enjoying today. John's final project will be support to the website as it relates to the Titans hosting the 22U National Club Championships in March 2009. His efforts have been invaluable and we thank him for his dedication!

Thanks to Rob Long for taking over as the new co-webmaster. Rob will be working with Greg Sidebottom to get oriented to the site and then to jump in to share the workload. Rob, welcome aboard, and thank you!

$50 REWARD Offered For Recruitment of New Players!

In an effort to step up our recruitment of new players, the Titans are offering a REWARD ($50 cheque) payable to any player or parent who is able to bring a brand new player on board. While our aim is primarily to broaden our base by increasing the number of players in 'I Love Water Polo' and Recreational House League, we will also honour a reward for new recruits to our competitive programs (by invitation of the head coaches in this case). Potential new players are welcome to come out and try a practice before committing. In order to cash in on your $50 reward, the new player must sign up and pay for the remainder of the season (late registrants are entitled to a pro-rated fee).  Contact General Manager Deanna Barry at INFO@titanswaterpolo.ca. OFFER EXPIRES FEBRUARY 13, 2009.
