Competitive athletes- this is a final opportunity to get your Club bathing suits that are required for tournaments (you are expected to wear them at Provincial and National Club Championships).

Carleton U Summer Recreational Water Polo League Now Registering

Registration has started for the Carleton U Summer Recreational Water Polo League. In past years, the league has filled up quickly and had a waiting list, so anyone interested is encouraged to register soon.

CUSWPL 2009 will again operate as a TWO TIER RECREATIONAL program, so both Tiers will be Recreational NOT competitive.  ALL PLAYERS in both Tiers will be expected to share their skills, experience and playing time, to ensure that everyone enjoys two games per week in a FUN, safe and supportive environment.

You must select either Tier ONE or Tier TWO when registering and you MUST submit an email address for League communications and updates. If you have specific questions, want to be on the same team as someone else, or are a goalie, please contact Steve Baird at steve_baird@carleton.ca

Which tier should I register in?  TIER ONE (older and more experienced players) or TIER TWO (younger less experienced players). It is important to note that the purpose of this tiered league is to divide approximately 128 players into groups and teams made-up of players at similar levels.   Here are some guidelines to help you choose for the two tiers:

Tier ONE – University players, Alumni, former Olympians, experienced Adult Rec League or experienced older High School players, more experienced and competitive Club players. Age limits are difficult, but if you are 16 years old or younger … please consider Tier Two before you register.

Tier TWO – Adult Rec League players, High School League players, younger and less experienced Club players (16&U or younger), House League players and Beginners who are ‘strong swimmers’.
