2009-2010 Competitive Registration Material now Available on Club Website

The Registration Material is now available on the Titans website (www.titanswaterpolo.ca) under Competitive Programs.  This material includes the Academy program, as well as the older age groups competitive programs.  Registration packages will not be mailed to the Titans families as we are trying to save trees and postage costs.  Forms and documents can be printed directly from the website.  However, if you prefer to receive the information and registration material by mail or if you have had difficulty accessing the documents, please contact the Registrar (see below).

As you will notice, the registration material and forms (Competitive Registration Information; the Titans and Ontario Water Polo Membership Registration Form; Registration Checklist; Titans Code of Conduct; PIPEDA Policy; Water Polo Canada Code of Conduct; and Police Check Forms) have been modified to reduce duplication, reflect the new fees, specify important policies and expectations of Club, and list all available volunteer positions.

Please spend some time reviewing all the registration material, codes of conduct and volunteer positions that need filling prior to completing the registration forms. A registration checklist has been posted to ensure complete registration packages are submitted.

All families are encouraged to drop off their cheques and registration material at the Titans Open House and Registration Day being held on Sunday, September 13th 1-3pm at the Hilton Garden Airport Inn, 2400 Alert Road.  There will be a number of volunteers available to accept your registration package on September 13th ensuring timely processing.

Also, you will have an opportunity to meet the coaches and board members, and buy club merchandise. Treats and drinks will also be available (profits will support both the Titans Club and the Run/Walk for the Cure for Breast Cancer), so bring your loonies and twoonies.

Inquiries about Registration should be directed to Sanja Boskovic, Registrar at
Registrar@titanswaterpolo.ca

Baked Goods Request for Fundraiser at Titans Open House and Registration Day

Our baked goods sale to raise funds for the Run/Walk for the Cure for Breast Cancer and our club (profits support both causes) was so well received at last year's open house and registration day, we will be running it again this year!

We'd like to ask for your support again this year by sending in baked items for the sale.  Goods should be cut into individual portions and can be brought at the beginning of the open house (1pm Sunday Sept 13th).

Merchandise Sale at Titans Open House and Registration Day

Merchandise available at the Open House will include the new Titans bathing suits ($100 Women's, $55 Men's), Titan's jackets (approx. $55), and water polo balls.  All purchases are payable by cheque to Titans Water Polo or cash only to the Merchandise Coordinator.

Note that all Titans competitive athletes are required to have the club uniform which includes a Titans bathing suit and a club jacket.  Jackets will be by special order and sample sizes will be available at the Open House.

In addition, Academy athletes are also required to have their own water polo ball, that is to be brought to each practice.
