Volunteer Needed for Club Treasurer

The Titans Board of Directors is looking for a new treasurer.  Our current treasurer, Damian Laflamme, is hanging up his calculator after three years of loyal service.  If you are an accountant, know someone who is, or have similar qualifications and/or experience in accounting, please contact Rennie Marcoux, Vice-President of the Titans Board of Directors at nicnat3@sympatico.ca.  Damian is staying on until the completion of the external audit but is anxious to pass on the torch.

Supported in his/her duties by the managers of the various programs and the Club bookkeeper, the treasurer, as set out in the Club’s constitution, “shall keep full and accurate accounts of all receipts and disbursements of the Association in proper books of account, and shall deposit all monies or other valuable effects in the name and to the credit of the Association in such bank or banks as may be designated by the Board of Directors.  The treasurer shall disburse the funds of the Association under the direction of the Board of Directors, taking proper vouchers therefore, and shall render to the Board of Directors, at its regular meetings, or when otherwise required by the Board of Directors, an account of all transactions and the financial position of the Association.  The treasurer shall also perform other duties and responsibilities that may be determined by the Board of Directors.”

Volunteer Referee Schedule Online for Recreational House League and Academy/ILWP

The schedule for the volunteers for Recreational House League and Academy/ILWP is available on the club website under the "Athlete Resources" tab or you can get there directly by clicking here: Schedule.

Thanks to those 18-U and 16U athletes who have already signed up for their four volunteer shifts!  Mark your calendars with the days/time you are scheduled to referee.  If you have not had a chance yet to signup, check the on-line schedule to see where there are time slots available where volunteers are still needed, and contact Pierre Tremblay at tremblay.Pierre@rogers.com to sign up.

If you are not able to make your shift, please arrange for another athlete to take your shift and notify
Pierre Tremblay so he can update the schedule.  Remember to wear appropriate clothing, deck shoes and bring your whistle.  Your high school volunteer sheet will be signed at the end of the season.  Further details will be provided via the Titans e-News.

Athlete Representatives on the Titans Board of Directors

The Board of Directors has created a voice for the athletes and this has been done by having two former Titans athletes take an active role representing players on the Board. We have two spots for the athletes: a male 'Athlete Representative' and a female 'Athlete Representative'. Many of you may know Logan Seaman and he is our newest male athlete representative, we are still looking for a female athlete representative. Attending monthly Board Meetings is a necessity as current issues are discussed as well as items that will impact on the future of the club and its athletes. For more information or to apply with resume for this, please contact: Rennie Marcoux at  nicnat3@sympatico.ca
