BACK-PACK ITEMS – Thank you for bringing school items and food for our back-to-school backpacks. The bright green sheets include an itemized list of essentials.
MOVIE NIGHT – A light dinner will be served at 5:30 this Wednesday and then we will watch the movie “The Bucket List”. Please sign up so we have enough food for dinner.
AMIGOS GARAGE SALE – A garage sale to benefit Amigos del Valle will be held here on Saturday, August 29 from 8:00-12:00. We will be pricing items on Friday starting at 10:00. We are NOT accepting any clothing, shoes, or large appliances. If you can offer help on Friday or Saturday, please call the church office.
MAKE-A-WISH – Each year we offer you a chance to make a gift to “Make-A-Wish” to fulfill a dream for a child. Your support is appreciated.
FOLLOWING JESUS – Starting the first Sunday in September we will begin a 12 week “steps to a passionate faith” study in our worship services. It will be based on the book Following Jesus. The study book, written by Carolyn Slaughter, costs $10.00. If you wish to go deeper as we explore these faith areas, please sign up to buy a personal copy for your use.
