As you know, UC San Francisco is one of the premier research institutions in all areas of health sciences.  In early 2009, one of the top secret labs at UCSF was on the verge of discovering a cure for cancer.  The cure, based on stem-cell engineering, is a cleverly designed molecule that could detect malignant cells and destroy them at their earliest stage with no ill effects to the patient.  This molecule, code named Fantasia, is poised to become the cure-all end-all for malignancies. Naturally, pharmaceutical companies who make chemotherapy and radiation treatments stand to lose a great deal of money from this invention, and one company in particular....

Noxxion Pharmaceuticals, based out of Cupertino, California, has quickly become the leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art chemotherapy and radiation treatments for cancer.  The company's stock has surged despite the economic downturn, and the total value of the company exceeds $500 billion.  Noxxion Pharmaceuticals are the makers of new chemotherapy regimens such as SLASH and R-SLASH.  Conveniently for Noxxion, there is has been a recent surge in cancers resistant to conventional therapy, and only seem to respond to Noxxion's products. Their drugs have been shown in clinical trials to greatly improve survival, albeit at the cost of severe side effects.  Seeing the threat to their market from the Fantasia molecule, Noxxion has sent agents of its own to break into UCSF, destroy all research data, and the Fantasia molecule.  However, they were unable to completely destroy the nano-molecule due to its incredible awesomeness, and instead they shattered it into pieces and scattered them over Northern California.

Your mission is to locate these fragments and recreate Fantasia to prevent the loss of this potentially amazing cure.  You will need to form a team of agents with intelligence, resourcefulness, and endurance for this mission will be grueling.  You must track down the path of Noxxion agents and recover the Fantasia molecule.  You will receive further instructions during your formal briefing.  Good luck.
