Topics of Discussion-

Gold Pass:

• Devin will check GoldPass every few weeks and send info to Phil to put on ESO calendar/website

Tutoring:

• Tutoring went well for the first session
• It is weekly at 3-5 pm on Thursdays
• Andrew made tutoring cards to pass out to students

Alumni Panel:

• November 11, 2009 at 6 pm
• Trevor will write the grant, similar to last event (Target)
• Financial Advising, Fed speakers for alumni speakers are of interest

Fed Trip:

• Wednesday afternoon in October for the trip
• Terry Fitzgerald, PhD from the U of M
• He is offering to speak on whatever topic we would like
• Limit on people is not needed as of now; names of attendees are needed for security

Paper Competition:

• Goals of this are for professor and department recognition, experience, meeting other economics students
• Paper must be submitted and graded from a class (minimum grade A-/B+)

Kaplan:

• This will be in place of a meeting on a Wednesday at 5:30 pm in the next few weeks
• Chris will email Lindsey, our Kaplan rep, about what times work for her

Facebook Networking:

• This will be used for getting news out about events (social and academic)
• Chris now has administrative privileges for the group
