1st ANNUAL SOUTH AFRICAN ELECTRIC INDOOR CHALLENGE

Venue: Large Badminton Hall, Pretoria

Times; 09:00 to 17:00


Please note: Final confirmation of date and venue will be published on the SAMAA BLOG and Sarfly, including the “Known” Aerobatic Schedule, Rules and Entry Form This will be no later than 15th December 2009.

 

Spectators – free entry

 

Refreshments – food and cold drink will be available throughout the day

 

First 5 shops to apply to display and sell indoor related planes and equipment will be allocated a 3 x 3 metre space, free,  in return for sponsoring a prize to the value of R500.

 

Entries – First 30 entries from SAMAA pilots will be accepted. Entries open on 15th December 2009 and close on 16th January 2010.

 

Planes – Any electric indoor powered plane, maximum weight 300 grams.

Note: pilots may use 2 different planes during the event.

 

Events      -       2 Rounds of a ‘Known’ aerobatic schedule – best Round to count

-        2 Rounds of a 2 minute Freestyle flight to music – best Round to count

-        2 Rounds of an E-X games obstacle course – best Round to count

 

Prizes –     First R1000 cash

-        Second R750 cash

-        Third R500 cash

-        Fourth, prize to the value of R500

-        Fifth, prize to the value of R500

-        Youngest competitor, prize to the value of R500

-        Oldest competitor, prize to the value of R500

-        Pilots choice for the most enjoyable flight of the competition, prize to the value of R500

Entry Fee – R100 per pilot
