Summary: The PL's of Harrison, Howell, and Cloudman have developed various weekly programs for their respective residents, such as "Midweek Munchies", "Tuesday Night Treats", "Wednesday Night Wingnuts", "International Snack Night", "and "Mellow Mondays". These programs allow the residents an opportunity to connect with their neighbors and PL's and to take a break from the stress of Georgia Tech academics. We are asking LC to fund $280 of these weekly programs, the rest of which is being funded by HHC Hall Council. As an example, "Midweek Munchies" occurs weekly in both Harrison and Cloudman (the girls dorms) and costs approximately $20-30 per event. This money goes towards the purchase of various snacks and deserts as well as soda. Similarly, in the guys dorm, Howell, the funding goes towards the purchase of wings from WingNuts. Again, these programs have been developed by PL's in consultation with their Hall Directors with the goal of fostering a better living and academic environment within HHC.
