Minutes for November 20th :
We want to:
- Gauge grad student interest in better alumni relations: in order to prove to the administration.
- Keep track of GPSS alumni: they will be more likely to participate in alumni events, so we should start now for the future.
- Encourage companies to send USC alums to the upcoming Career Networking Event
- Email out a short blurb asking grad students to sign up/comment if they want better alumni relations.
- Draft a short letter to send GPSS alumni
- Draft a letter to the administration asking for everything we want
- Find old GPSS records to get alumni contact info
- Research how departments currently keep track of alumni

1. Introduction of the committee members
2. The mission of the Alumni Relations Committee: bringing graduate and professional students together with USC Alums - across disciplines
3. Announcement concerning Society 53
4. Discussion of a possible Career Networking Event with USC Alumni in April 2010
5. Other possible programs for this semester
Agenda for Oct 13th -meeting:
1. Report on meeting with Eileen Kohan from the Career Planning and Placement Center, Sept. 25th (Johannes)
2. Report on meeting with Jeremy Wingerter, Alumni Relations Staff on Sept. 30th (Johannes)
3. Start to coordinate the networking event by setting a date & time and organizing venue (done - need to follow up)
4. Discussion about possible promotional activities for the Networking Event
