Guidelines for Features Writing

1. Article must be of a larger scope than a news story.

2. Article must be relevant to the MA community in some way/human interest piece

3. Variety of sources is essential. All angles of story must be explored.

4. Avoid editorializing.

5. Article must have strong graphic or photo to go along with piece (that helps convey something new to the reader that the text of the article does not).
