Junior High mission weekend (7/31/09 – 8/1/09)
Intro
During the last weekend in July, our junior high students will have the opportunity to participate in a weekend-long mission experience here in our local community. Throughout the summer months, we have been learning about the parallels between faith and action, as the New Testament book of James explores. Using the verse in Micah 6.8 as our glue, we have studied and discussed what it means to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly, but have yet to experience this text in a real and tangible way. This weekend experience will be our way of spurring one another on in faith and action as we continue to learn about missions as a lifestyle.
