V ASIA-PACIFIC REGIONAL CONFERENCE OF SOLIDARITY WITH CUBA
To all members of the Friendship Organizations with Cuba and friends in Asia- Pacific region.
Dear brothers and sisters:
The celebration of the V Asia-Pacific Regional Conference of Solidarity with Cuba in the year of the 50 Anniversary of the foundation of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples will represent a sample of the excellent and fraternal relationship that join people from the Caribbean Island with friends from Asia and Pacific.
The Lao People’s Democratic Republic will be the venue of such an important conference that will contribute to strengthen friendship between the courageous and multiethnic people from Laos and the Cuban people, whom maintain special relations of brotherhood since time of the struggle for achieving the national liberation of the Southeast Asian country.
In order to strengthen solidarity movement with Cuba in Asia-Pacific region and following the four previous conferences held in Calcutta, Hanoi , Chennai and Colombo in 1995, 1997, 2006, 2008 respectively, the Lao -Cuba Friendship Association and the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples summon the celebration of the V Asia-Pacific Regional Conference of Solidarity with Cuba, which will be held in Vientiane, capital city of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic ( Lao PDR ) from 19th to 20th March, 2010.
We summon all friends and Friendship Organizations with Cuba in the region to once more, raise their voices in defense of solidarity with the island, by sending their delegates to such an important meeting which will be suitable space to demand respect to sovereignty and self-determination right that surrounds Cuban people. At the same time, you could exchange viewpoints about world transcendence of Marti, Che and Fidel thoughts that sustain our solidarity.
We are sure the conference will mean a step forward the strengthening of Solidarity Movement with Cuba in the region and all participants, good will men and women, will discuss ideas and actions to promote solidarity with Cuba in the current situation we are going through.

Registration fee: 50.00 USD
Accommodation, food and travel in Vientiane will be covered by the Lao-Cuba Friendship Association
For visa application to Laos, please kindly inform the Conference Organizing Committee as soon as possible some details of your passport (name, birthday, nationality, passport number, expiry date and profession) and convenient place for you to get visa. In case, there is no Lao Embassy in your capital country, we may give you visa on arrival at Vientiane airport
