Very Friendly #1 - will put a big smile on your face

Altogether the funniest package of the week, which put a big smile on my face. Frans de Waard, Vital Weekly

Wonderful, a great read which I recommend! Oh, there’s also a seven-inch record inside which is great too. Trondheim Tapes Revisited is by Lasse Marhaug, and in remaking the tapes of noise that date from the same time as depicted in the comic, he’s tried to imitate the comic book panel format and structure his cut-ups in sequenced blocks. Listen to the record as we read the comic, is Lasse’s advice; “they’re meant to work together”. The Sound Projector, UK

"Six collage-styled minutes of mangled speaking voices, ear-piercing screeches, unearthly convulsions, coughs, splatter, feedback, and fireworks is more fun than adults should be allowed to have so act fast before the 300 copies vanish." Textura No.5

Ronnie Sundin's first issue of Very Friendly has attracted a lot of attention and positive criticism and our editiion of 300 copies is selling fast. Many thanks to all of you who visited our site and ordered this first issue!!

For those of you who want to take the chance and become acquainted with Sundin's journey to Trondheim and the chapters on Varese's scandal in Paris and Throbbing Gristle, it is still possible to order a copy of the release.

The next issue of Very Friendly is scheduled for late 2009 and will amongst other things feature a story on Sundin's encounters with composers Francisco López and Daniel Menche in Spain in 2006 as well as a closer look at the obscure '80s German cult film Decoder which starred underground heroes such as Genesis P. Orridge, William S. Burroughs and F.M. Einheit. The 7" for this issue will present Francisco López exploring the limits of the vinyl format.

Solens sång / Sound of the sun
We are excited to present a new project and a first collaboration with Mats Björk, who has previously released music under the name Kompjotr Eplektrika.

"Solens sång / Sound of the sun" will be released in the new Komplott maginot series, with catalogue number maginot10. This edition will be released in 24 copies.  We have chosen not to reveal more details about the project in this early stage, but will post more information, images and hopefully video material during the summer. The preliminary release date for "Solens sång / Sound of the sun" is sometime in the late summer of 2009.

Sunspots - Ronnie Sundin’s final ‘quiet’ album.

Sunspots
is an album that was created during the same deep dive into the archives that produced the recent “Seven Year Silence” CD (issued by Fang Bomb) but has a very different personality. This is a much more subdued affair revisiting the same material that was recorded for the mp3 album Solsting and some of the last recordings made at the legendary The Cabin studio as well as other locations between 2000-2004  - making this the final document of Sundin’s quieter half of this decade.

This is in some ways a more improvised album, which along with its quit fragility separates it from his earlier albums of the decade, although the sounds are still carefully composed.

After several format changes, this album will finally be released in an exclusive 12” vinyl edition limited to 50 copies only. All the covers will be hand made by Sundin himself, making each cover an individual work of art. Each cover will be drawn by hand and a personal dedication may also be incorporated into the cover art. Just state your name when place your order!

Orders are limited to 1 copy per customer and this album will only be available through the Komplott web store.

Själens Ö update
Andreas Bertilsson's work with his next album, Själens Ö, has been carried out during the spring and continues until mid-summer when it's supposed to proceed with the album mastering. Bertilsson has involved over 14 musicians for the album and will be arranging, playing and producing all the tracks himself. Among the musicians involved are Joel Wästberg, Samuel Hällkvist, Sofia Dahlgren, Mattias Rodrick, John Essing, Johanna Ericsson, Åsa Ahlander, Oscar Hallberg among others. The album will be mastered by Linus Sjölund who also worked with Bertilsson on previous Komplott albums.

Downloads
The majority of the downloads from our previous website is now available again. The first Komplott mp3 release was originally published in 2000, for 9 years ago! Things have evolved rapidly in terms of mp3 and some of the editions have been updated to provide better bit rate. Thus a opportunity to become acquainted with our free download catalogue, alternatively an occasion for some pleasant re-listening.
