Begin by brainstorming a favorite topic of yours. Keep it school-appropriate. Choose something you find very interesting. Here are some ideas:

  2. Your biography
  3. Your family
  4. Your culture
  5. Your favorite holiday
  6. Your favorite academic or historic subject
  7. Your own movie or game reviews
  8. Your opinions on world events
  9. Your take on celebrity news
  10. Other school-appropriate ideas

 

  1. Rough Sketch

Draw a rough sketch for the site’s layout. Show where various elements will go: headings, paragraphs, images, lists, and links.

 

  1. Rough Draft
    Write a rough draft of the text for your site. Follow these guidelines:
    A.  At least six paragraphs of information that can be classified into several headings

B.              In your own words

C.              Check your spelling and grammar

Requirements

Your page must include the following:

  1. Create a folder entitled AboutMe for this assignment in your Web Design file folder

 

  1. The main page should be named index.html

 

  1. A bulleted or numbered list

 

  1. Links to sites with more information

 

  1. At least one image

 

  1. At least one image which is a link to another site

 

  1. Save and test the page frequently as you work.
