Purpose:  Students will become familiar with the formation of rocks in the environment, and the various characteristics of the major types of rocks. 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  2. When you get to the page, read the introduction, and then click on the link to begin.
  3. READ the page on rock types, and then fill in the chart and answer the questions below:
