WORK EXPERIENCE

Fall 08-      City of Seminole

Present       Seminole, OK

                   Media Coordinator

Notes: In this position, I made informational videos which aired on the city's

local cable channel.  I was responsible for mantaining this channel,

as well as the city's website.  Most of the videos I produced involved

interviewing local public officials and/or covering local events.

Fall 07-      Woodrow Wilson Elementary

Fall 08        Seminole Public Schools

                   Seminole, OK

                   Assistant Teacher, Elementary

Notes: I worked with 1-3 grade students on their reading skills.  This meant

I spent a lot of one-on-one time with the children, helping them find

books they would enjoy and teaching them to read.  I also assisted in

       the school library.

Spring       Seminole, Public Schools

2007          Seminole, OK

                  Substitute Teacher

Notes: I taught many different subjects and in every grade from PreK-12.

One of my regular classes to cover was a high school P.E. class, which I

was later told was considered the most difficult class in the district

during that school year.  I was one of the few substitutes who could

                            stick with this group.

Spring       Little Red Schoolhouse Preschool

2007          Shawnee, OK

                  Part-time Teacher

Notes: I worked as a teacher, and sometimes assistant teacher, in every

                             class from 2-5 yrs old.

2004-07    Fred’s Daylight Donuts Seminole, Oklahoma

                 Seminole, Oklahoma

                 Baker’s Assistant

Notes: I interacted with children while operating the front counter.  This job

gave me a lot of customer-relations experience, and my employers

were sad to see me move on after college.

2004-05    Seminole Public High School

                 Seminole, Oklahoma

Filmed and produced highlights video for football program.

Notes: A couple of the tasks I completed on this project were filming the

teams’ “behind-the-scenes” and assisting with interviewing the seniors.

                 Acting President
Notes:  During the summer of '08 I organized and directed a community play,
which featured children and adults of all ages.  The total cast was sixteen,

2005-06     Volunteer with Cox Communication

                  Costumed character for business promotion

Notes: The character was a large, green salamander dressed like a child.  I did

this at two separate events, and children of all ages were present at

both.  Needless to say, the children loved the character.

---            I am the eldest in a family of eleven children.  This has given me countless

instances of one-on-one working experience with toddlers and infants.  Because

of this “life experience,” I am very comfortable with and around children of all

                ages.
