DAY 32

Glasgow, Scotland

playing at Mono tonight. i loved this place. awesome staff, great vegetarian food, great beer. this is one of the few places where i felt at home while on tour. you can't beat it.

our trip to Glasgow would have been a complete disaster if it wasn't for these two. thanks Isla and Michael!!!!

these guys still prefer to eat fast food over anything else we come across.

indeed!

so, i've never figured out if this is a bass player thing or just something that happens to me, but every night regardless of where we are playing and what size the stage is, i always have some elses shit right where i stand. tonight's a good one, Steves monitor. (no problem, i'll just balance on top of it all night?) note steves can of coke on my bass amp too. always a great place to put a beverage. on top of the most vibrating surface within 1/2 a mile.

Isla took these next few shots of us playing.

on our way to an after party. Steve brings his own beverages of choice, a sixer of fanta and a coke to hold him over til he gets there. i have no friggin clue what Al is doing with his hand that far down his pants.

we show up to the party and there is a band playing. it turns out its a friends bachelor party. you'll figure out who the bachelor is.

Steve is loving this party.

starting to wear out a bit now.....

Steve jumps on the drums and tries to help him hold it together a bit longer.

still trying to hold it together, singing laying down. he passed out about 3 minutes later. cheers!
