Saturday 5th December - Club Night featuring IAN HUDSON (ex Hearts of Oak), excellent singer/guitarist now with a superb programme of Show of Hands songs, and other traditional and contemporary material. Mince Pies for the Seasonal Spirit provided to thank you all for the wonderful support throughout the year. Entry £2.00 plus Raffle. Floorspots, musicians, singers, listeners all welcome as always.

Saturday 2nd January - GUEST NIGHT NO 36 with PETE MORTON and our EIGHTH ANNUAL PARTY. Pete Morton is an outstanding contemporary singer/songwriter who has sung all over the globe. This is his third visit to the Acorn which tells you in what high esteem we hold him.

Saturday 6th February - Special Club Night featuring BOB & GILL BERRY, a talented and delightful duo with a wide repertoire and who are highly regarded as organisers of the amazing Chippenham Folk Festival. A real treat in store.

Saturday 6th March - GUEST NIGHT NO 37 with DAMIEN BARBER & MIKE WILSON. This promises to be an amazing evening - Damien's Group the Demon Barbers won the Radio 2 Folk Awards Best Live Act, and Mike Wilson comes from a great singing family of long standing on the folk scene.

Saturday 3rd April - Club Night featuring the College Band, the Minehead Flute Group directed by Jeannette Owen and the Owen Family, so there will be lots of young musicians to keep our wonderful tradition of live music alive and kicking!

Saturday 1st May - GUEST NIGHT NO 38 with MICK RYAN AND PETE HARRIS. A better voice than Mick's would be hard to find, and Pete is a superb harmony singer and guitarist. A wonderful programme of Mick's own stunning songwriting and varied traditional material.

Saturday 5th June - Club Night featuring Acorn Folk Club Organisers EILEEN ANN MOORE & JIM PARHAM, Guitar and Song, with their wide repertoire and love of music with plenty of opportunity for audience participation. Supported by THE ACORN CREW with great chorus songs.

Saturday 3rd July - GUEST NIGHT NO 39 with JIM CAUSLEY, (twice BBC Radio 2 Folk Award Nominee), sings the traditional songs of Devon with a characterful and modern twist. Superb Melodeon playing too.
