WARNING! BUDGET CRISIS AHEAD!
Warning, fgts! Every single raid Baconator and Mommychan have paid out the ass because you are too poor, too lazy, too dickish or whatever fucking other excuse you have to donate a measly $3 that would cover EVERYTHING. So unfortunately, we're going to have to up the ante. I hate to ask for something like this, but because of the miserly state of Anon, I am stepping in with no prior communications with Mommychan or Baconator and saying give the fuck more money.

Solution? At June 14, give the backlog of all the money you OWE our great and prosperous organizers. At $3/raid, that would be $12 by the time June rolls around, and by all means donate more, because we all know there will be giant asshats that fail to give even spare change.

We're pretty broke here people, so if you can, donate. We know that we put out the donation jar every raid, but we (MommyChan and Baconator) have been footing a lot of the bill for these protests. Scientology Protest Safety Information (SP'S Info)

Dress code is twofold for this one. You can come in FORMAL attire.  Wear a black sport jacket with black slacks and a white dress shirt.  Tie is optional, but preferred.

Rules Concerning Masks: All masks are ABSOLUTELY PERMITTED.
The Philadelphia Police Department understands why we cover our faces and conceal our identity from the Church of Scientology.  We recommend Guy Fawkes masks.


Only bring the bare minimum of cash and ID that you will need, just as a general precaution. 
We have had minor reports of OSA faggotry in the past.  Nothing to be concerned about, just act smart.

Meet-Up Info


Because there will be no food supplied by the "management" on this raid, you will have to get lunch on your own sometime during the day.  Obvious rules are obvious: DON'T GO ALONE.  If you don't know anyone at the raid, ask someone with a megaphone to find out who wants to go to lunch with you, or just ask a random anon.  Chances are, even if you're the last person, someone or some group will be willing to go with you just to fuck around.

Starting at 10:30 AM Anon will begin meeting on Dilworth Plaza. You cant miss us, It's on the West side of City Hall. Details about the Scilon location to follow.

If you need to park your vehicle, you can either do so at some other location around the city and take the subway to City Hall Station, or you can park on one of the numerous locations directly north of the meet-up, on N Broad St.  Cherry St, which intersects N Broad also has several lots which can be used.

Notes From The Bacon!

Well, its that time of month again, the time to piss off some scilons, Philadelphia style. Thus far in the month of June we have delivered some EPIC wins. The Managing Directors Office has struck down Scientology's all-day bullshit protests that keep us from protesting on Chestnut St, thanks to the wonderful documentation that Anons provided. Bruce is going to probably be a lil bit peeved at this, since his little plan of action was foiled by those meddling kids.

We also know that our OSA guy is "Adam." We are working to double confirm his name, as there is a question on whether or not that is actually his name. The dianetics book drive was an epic failure all around, Philadelphia sold a whopping total of 0 books. I also have some JUICY gossip about Bruce, but I'm not going to reveal it here.

Now, about this protest. We are going for a PIRATE CARNIVAL THEME. So, in the spirit of things, bring some carnival games, or fun lil games. If you have Twister, bring it! I have lots of cardboard at my place, so I'll end up making stuff here. Pin the nose on the con was good on 5/14. I liked that one. We will be taking two positions, Love Park and Dilworth Plaza, both very close to each other (across the street). Love park has a fountain, so if you want to make little toy boats, or if you have little toy boats, it might be cute to get a few to sail in the fountain.

Love park has a fairly large amount of space, and lots of area to flyer. Make sure that this time, we get LOTS OF FLYERS printed. Bring SIGNS. Poasterboard is cheap, make some cheapy signs. They get some message across very easily in a short amount of time.

Now, I know some of you are going, "BUT WE DONT HAVE CHESTNUT ST." Relax. I has a plan for Chestnut St. That will be revealed the day of the protest. CoS I believe still holds the permit for Chestnut St, but they are prostesting, of all things, PSYCHIATRIC DRUGS. Which is really retarded in this day and age, as most people are in support of them, especially with soldiers coming back from Iraq with PTSD needing Psychiatric care, that MIGHT include medication.

Also, the ex-DSA of Philly is now head of East Coast OSA, Tim Lomas. He might end up making an appearance, as Bruce is very, very, very Downstat. We shall see. He might stay up in NYC, as NYC is also, very, very, very, Downstat.

So, to recap. Things we need for this raid.

1) GAMES. Use some Imagination. We wanna have some fun with this. Might want to get some cheapy dollar store prizes too?
2) SIGNAGE. It doesnt have to be on a pole / stick. Just some cardboard, and a big sharpie message.
3) FLYERS. There is a Staples down the street from Dilworth, we can get more if we run out.
4) SCIENTOLOGISTS. Because whats the fun without a little enturbulation.

    On February 10, 2008, over 8000 people in 17 different time zones around the world, staged an international demonstration against the "Church" of Scientology, which we feel is a dangerous cult, not a religion. On June 14, 2008 from 11am-6pm we will demonstrate again, peacefully assembling, exercising our right to free speech, to educate the public about the dangers of the Scientology cult and the hidden danger of the "Sea Org." Scientology likes to claim that the Sea Org is nothing more than the parish of Scientology. However, this isn't true in the least. The Sea Org forces their members to live on $24 a week, sign Billion Year Pledges of Committment to the Sea Org, and is setup as the Scientologists land-based Navy. This protest will be, once again, an International protest and we expect our numbers to grow in size not just at the Philadelphia location, but around the world.

    We would like to extend an invitation to the media to join us on June 14, 2008 at Love Park and Dilworth Plaza, where we will once again protest against the Scientology cult, to alert the public of the very real threat posed by this group, and to help inform the public about the danger they are likely to be in if they become entangled in this so-called "Church."

    Due to the serious nature of the problems society faces as a result of Scientology interfering with psychiatric medicine and treatment, not to mention harassment of those who escape the cult, we ask the Philadelphia-area media to please cover this story. Because of the importance of our message, we would greatly appreciate coverage of our protest by local Philadelphia media outlets.
