RENOVATION IN PROCESS
We’re excited about the project. As we settle in to our temporary locations during this time, here are some of the details that will be helpful.
On Sunday, we request that everyone enter through the gymnasium doors. It is suggested that you park on the north-side of the church for easier access. This will also help us with flow.
To enter the fellowship hall rooms, please use the back hallway door or the Common Ground entries.
Restrooms are available in the gym and off of the courtyard.
The Nursery is located in room 1B. The entrance is in the breezeway between the playground and courtyard. The classroom is on the North side. A changing table is available for use by the children’s restrooms off of classroom 1A.
The 2’s and 3’s Sunday School Class and the Preschool Children’s Church are located in 1A.
The 4’s – 1st Grade Class is located off of the gym hallway in Room 12.
The Youth, Adult, 2nd-6th Grade, and Elementary Children’s Church remain in the same locations.
On Tuesday evenings, we request that everyone enter through the corridor from the back parking lot to the courtyard.
Your patience during the transition is greatly appreciated.
SUNDAY SCHOOL / SMALL GROUPS…
MAKING A CONNECTION
Sunday School and small groups are great ways to dig deeper into study and provides a wonderful opportunity to get to know people in a small group setting.
Adult Sunday School Classes. We presently have three great Adult class options you can attend that begin each Sunday morning at 9:30!
The Pacesetters, led by Jim Cullumber, are meeting in Room B of the Fellowship Hall (East of the Sanctuary). This class is involved in a Bible study of Nehemiah.
New Beginnings, taught by Bruce and Terri Larson, meets in Room C of the Fellowship Hall (East of the Sanctuary). The class is currently studying a book entitled, "Understanding Bible Prophecy for Yourself", written by Tim LaHaye.
The Journey is co-taught by Roger Degler and Pastor Bruce. The lessons are from Heart, Soul, Mind, Strength—Godly Living For Today’s Kingdom Christian. These four aspects summarize the life of committed follower of Jesus Christ. This study uses real flesh-and-blood examples and powerful scriptural insights that will help today’s believer put these characteristics into practice in his or her daily life. This group meets in courtyard classroom # 7.
Youth Sunday School Classes. Our youth presently meet in Room A of the Fellowship Hall (East of the Sanctuary).
UPDATE: Adult Bible Study at the Hickeys. We would love for those who are interested in a Bible study to join our group. We start at 6:30 p.m. and it usually lasts about one hour. We also have a time of prayer. We meet in our Outback room. We will be taking a break during the remainder of August, but plan to resume again next month. –Leaders Mike and Sandra Hickey
Adult Women’s Bible Study. The study will resume in September and will begin the study of II Corinthians. If you would like a study book ($15), please contact the church office by phone or e-mail.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Preschool Children’s Church uses Worship Time to reinforce what they have learned about God through their Sunday School classes. Children will be ready for a parent or guardian to pick them up in their classroom, Room #1A, following the service.
Elementary Children’s Church. Our children are learning about some of our favorite hymns… what they mean and their history. They will be leading one in the service today. Children will be ready for a parent or guardian to pick them up in Fellowship Hall Room D following the service.
Food Allergies. In many of our programs, kids enjoy a light snack. If your child has food allergies, please let the teacher know.
