Wristies (Wrist-warmers)

Finished measurements:

Length: 4”

Width: 3.5-4” (depending on stretch)

Materials:

Gauge: 1” = 7st X 7rows

Pattern Notes: Pattern is worked in 1x1 rib. This is an excellent project for using up leftover yarn. The Wristies are one size fits most due to the elasticity of ribbing (tested by the fact they fit me, who has small hands, and my husband, who has huge hands). If you (or whomever you are making them for) has bigger hands, simply add more rows for a better fit.

Alternately, if you want longer wrist-warmers, add more rows till they are the desired length. I made them short because I didn’t want bulkiness, just a little extra coziness for my hands.

Directions:

- Cast on 42 stitches, leaving a tail about 10” long.

- starting with a K, alternate K, P stitches to end.

- Repeat rows for a total of 27 rows.

- Bind off leaving a tail at least 6” long.

Finishing:

Using tail from cast on, sew up side 14 rows (plus any additional rows you may have added). Tie off and weave in ends.

Using tail from bind off, sew together top 3 rows. Tie off and weave in ends.

Turn inside out and you’re done!
