Praise YHWH!  When reading through these few verses, one can but stand in awe of how deep YHWH's love is for us His people. Look at how HE forgives us!

Isa 43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Psa 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Isa 44:22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

I am so thankful, that when it comes to any of the sins I have committed, and sought forgiveness for, that the place is found no more!  Once it has been forgiven, in YHWH's sight it's gone from His memory!  We don't need to go back again and ask, for think about it, once HE forgives sin, that sin is blotted out, the place is gone, it just simply is no more! So if we ask again, how can YHWH forgive something that does not exist anymore?

When we pray the prayer the disciples were taught we pray thus:

Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

So how is it that we forgive others?  Why is it that we will say of someone...sure they might be forgiven, BUT>>>> will you trust him/her after they sinned like that?  Or, I don't care if he/she is forgiven..I surely won't forget!  We must be wise after all!  The Word teaches us:

Mat 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Mat 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

YHWH does forgive us!  We are to be perfect even as HE is perfect.  So then, if we will not forgive, and we hold on to "memories" of where someone sinned against us, or against another, and they have been forgiven of YHWH., can we not see that 'turn about is fair play"?  We are to do unto others as we would have done to us!  If we truly desire for YHWH to not only forgive, but also to forget, should we not then extend the same forgiveness to others?  Look again to Mat 6:12, we are saying, Father YHWH, please forgive us of all our sins...thought, word, deed, the same way, we forgive anyone who in thought, word or deed sinned against us.  The same measure we mete, will be meted back to us!   I think we each need to search our hearts before YHWH, and do some introversion.  Do I have unforgiveness against someone?  Do I hold on to memories of how someone sinned against me?  If so, unless I truly forgive and forget, and not bring this back up, I myself cannot be forgiven, nor my sins be blotted out.  When reading this, I am convicted to ask YHWH to:

Psa 139:23 Search me, O Elohim, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

Psa 139:24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

May this Word encourage us, to cleanse our heart from holding back any grudges and evil thoughts and unforgiveness we might of had against anyone, so that we too, might stand totally cleansed and forgiven by YHWH.
