Ego - Your Own Personal Anti-Messiah
Part 1    
 
Gen 1:24-31 And Elohim said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. (25) And Elohim made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and Elohim saw that it was good. (26) And Elohim said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (27) So Elohim created man in his own image, in the image of Elohim created he him; male and female created he them. (28) And Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (29) And Elohim said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. (30) And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. (31) And Elohim saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.


Psa 82:1-8 A Psalm of Asaph. Elohim standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the elohim. (2) How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. (3) Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. (4) Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. (5) They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. (6) I have said, Ye are elohim; and all of you are children of the most High. (7) But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. (8) Arise, O Elohim, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.


Ego: Your Own Personal Anti-Messiah


Php 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Messiah YHWSHUA: (6) Who, being in the form of YHWH, thought it not robbery to be equal with YHWH: (7) But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: (8) And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the stake.


Ego is created when we don't use our Conscious Self the way that we were created. The ego keeps us in bondage to the lower nature (flesh)... It then keeps us blinded to this slavery in our lives by:


  1. Not recognizing there is a problem

  2. Not recognizing it is OUR problem


Mat 7:1-5 Judge not, that ye be not judged. (2) For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. (3) And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? (4) Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? (5) Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.


  1. Having a "knowledge" of the ego, but not realizing it controls our lives!

  2. Keeping us so 'busy' that we don't have time do deal with the ego

  3. "There's always tomorrow!" (No need to begin today)

  4. We get so used to the ego's strategy that we think that it's normal and not harmful to us! (Everybody's doing it)


YOU need to overcome the problem; YOU have to do something about it; YOU have to begin NOW.


Joh 8:3-11 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, (4) They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. (5) Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? (6) This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But YHWSHUA stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. (7) So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. (8) And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. (9) And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and YHWSHUA was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. (10) When YHWSHUA had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? (11) She said, No man, Master. And YHWSHUA said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.


The pharisees thought they were in the right, but they were absolutely blinded by their egos!


We need to understand:


  1. The nature of the ego and how to recognize and overcome it's schemes

  2. How the ego hides itself & how the ego blinds us (Intricate Illusions - Illusions Exposed Show)

  3. Ego is created because our Conscious Self (Real Self) isn't aware of these illusions

  4. Ego can only blind us as long as it can keep us in the dark (Darkness "Absence of light" can never be taken out, only overcome by light!)


Joh 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.


2Co 4:6 For YHWH, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of YHWH in the face of YHWSHUA Messiah.


1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:


  1. Every human being on this planet is at least in part blinded by the ego.

  2. Not everyone is ready to see through the ego and and overcome it.

  3. We can never solve a problem while we are bound by the same consciousness that created the problem.

  4. We are planting seeds, if you are not ready at least they will be planted, and in time.. will sprout!


“Are we teachable? Are we willing to heed spiritual truth even if it challenges our present beliefs? Or would we rather follow a false teaching that tells me what we (really our ego) want to hear?”


If we will follow the True Path, and forsake the ego, there will be emotions, pain, and pride that we will have to deal with!
