Give!!

 

Are We Givers or Takers??

 

Act 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of The Master YHWSHUA, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

 

It's easy to think... feel sorry for me --> Ego

Ego screams.. look at me.. feel for me.. give to me!

 

Job 4:8  Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.

 

Pro 11:18-19  The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.  (19)  As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.

 

In the middle of whatever situation we find ourselves we should think.. how does this give me the opportunity to bless others? How can I encourage them? --> Spiritual

 

Lust - Receiving at the cost of others ; Love - Giving at the expense of yourself

 

Every relationship consists of giving and taking... and both are important! If noone received noone would be able to give! If we stop the flow of either... we interfere with the Law of YHWH!

 

But our "Taking" has to be with the attitude of blessing others as well!

 

Give and it shall be given unto you...

 

In every situation we can find something to give... Love, Joy, Peace, Compassion, Comfort, Affection and Attention (listening with our whole being).

 

Mt 25:34-40 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Master, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

 

Pro 19:17  He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto YHWH; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

 

Matt 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

 

Ps 112:5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

 

We must become a "Distibution Center!"

 

Gal 6:1-10  Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.  (2)  Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Messiah.  (3)  For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.  (4)  But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.  (5)  For every man shall bear his own burden.  (6)  Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.  (7)  Be not deceived; YHWH is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  (8)  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  (9)  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.  (10)  As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

 

All creation breaths! All Creation runs on dynamic exchange - (continually moving and changing (Seasons) & filled with energy). Everything is energy & Giving and receiving are different sides of the flow of energy. (Breath, Waves in the ocean, etc)

 

We, too, are designed to receive energy, run it through our lives, and give it back to the universe in some form...

 

This is why The Master said "give and it shall be given unto you." We constantly live in this "Exchange"....

 

Why not begin the exchange by giving what it is that we are seeking after? Then we would receive what it is that we are giving! Then we will keep abundance and energy flowing through our lives.

 

Pro 11:24-26  There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.  (25)  The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.  (26)  He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.

 

If we stop the flow (By sowing to the ego - Self) we interfere with YHWH's Laws and cause stagnation, decay, and death of energy. (Septic Backup)

 

Job 4:8  Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.

 

Hos 8:7  For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.

 

Ecc 5:16  And this also is a sore evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath laboured for the wind?

 

The Intention Behind Giving

 

When you give or receive... the most important thing is your intention! We must always be motivated to bless others and bring joy to their lives! If this is the case.. our giving and receiving will always prosper!

 

Give willingly with joy...

 

Exo 25:2  Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.

 

1Ch 29:17  (David) - I know also, my Elohim, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

 

If we are willing to give what we are seeking after abundance will circulate in our life!

 

2Co 9:6-8  But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.  (7)  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for YHWH loveth a cheerful giver.  (8)  And YHWH is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

 

If you feel like you are "losing something" when you give.. then you haven't given out of a pure heart.. but grudgingly.. and it cannot be blessed! The energy is lost...

 

2Co 8:8-12  I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.  (9)  For ye know the grace of our Master YHWSHUA Messiah, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.  (10)  And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.  (11)  Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.  (12)  For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.

 

Give From a Pure Heart..Not Just To Receive Something Back!

 

Mat 6:1-4  Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.  (2)  Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.  (3)  But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:  (4)  That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

 

Pro 20:6  Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

 

Psa 44:21  Shall not Elohim search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

 

Rom 12:8  Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

 

Giving is simple!

 

If you need money... Give money!

If you want Love... Give Love!

If you crave attention... Give attention to others!

If you want joy.. Give Joy!

 

Develop the attitude that -  "Today.. Whoever I see, Wherever I go, Whatever the circumstance...  I will give a gift and receive with gratitude."

 

1Ti 6:18  That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

 

Learn to Give.. and to Receive (With Gratitude)!
