Raindrops
1 A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
3 Trust in YHWH, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in YHWH; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto YHWH; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
7 Rest in YHWH, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon YHWH, they shall inherit the earth.
10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be : yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of shalom.
12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
13 The Master shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.
14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but YHWH upholdeth the righteous.
18 YHWH knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of YHWH shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by YHWH: and he delighteth in his way.
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for YHWH upholdeth him with his hand.
25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
Raindrops Keep Fallin On My Head
Written By: Burt Bacharach
Sung By: BJ Thomas
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head, And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothin' seems to fit...Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'
But there's one thing I know The blues they send to meet me won't defeat me
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me 'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Because I'm free... Nothin's worryin' me
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me

I saw rain drops on my window, Joy is like the rain.
Laughter runs across my pane, Slips away and comes again. Joy is like the rain.
I saw clouds upon a mountain, Joy is like a cloud.
Sometimes silver, sometimes gray, Always sun not far away. Joy is like a cloud.
Messiah in the wind and thunder, Joy is tried by storm.
Messiah asleep within my boat, Whipped by wind, yet still afloat, Joy is tried by storm.
I saw rain drops on a river, Joy is like the rain,
Bit by bit the river grows, 'til all at once it overflows. Joy is like the rain.
· Why is it that so often we focus on the negatives in life?
· Everything can be seen as a negative or a positive... it all depends on our outlook
· Look for the positive in each situation that comes into your life!
· However we look at these things.. is what is going to come about in our life!
· Perspective is everything!
Once there was an old man who lived in a tiny village. Although poor, he was envied by all, because he owned a beautiful white horse. People offered fabulous prices for the horse, but the old man always refused. “This horse is a friend, not a possession,” he would respond.
One morning the horse was not in the stable. All the villagers said, “You old fool. We told you someone would steal that beautiful horse. You could at least have gotten the money. Now the horse is gone, and you’ve been cursed with misfortune.”
The old man responded, “Perhaps. All I know is that my horse is gone; the rest I do not know. Whether it be a curse or a blessing, I can’t say.”
After fifteen days the horse returned. He hadn’t been stolen; he had run away into the forest. Not only had he returned, he had brought a dozen wild horses back with him. Once again the village people gathered around the old man and said, “You were right - what we thought was a curse was a blessing. Please forgive us.” The old man responded, “Perhaps. Once again you’ve gone too far. How do you know if this is a blessing or a curse? Unless you can see the whole story, how can you judge?” But the people could only see the obvious. The old man now had twelve additional horses that could be broken and sold for a great deal of money.
The old man had a son, an only son. He began to break the wild horses. Unfortunately, after just a few days, he fell from a horse and broke both his legs. Once again the villagers gathered around the old man and said, “You were right. The wild horses were not a blessing; they were a curse. Your only son has broken his legs and now in your old age you have no one to help you. You are poorer than ever.” But the old man said, “Perhaps. Don’t go so far. Say only that my son broke his legs. We have only a fragment of the whole story.”
It so happened that a few weeks later the country went to war with a neighboring country. All the young men of the village were required to join the army. Only the son of the old man was excluded, because he had two broken legs. Once again the people gathered around, crying because there was little chance their sons would return. “You were right, old man. Your son’s accident was a blessing. Our sons are gone forever.”
The old man spoke again. “You people are always quick to jump to conclusions. Only YHWH knows the whole matter.”
Go with the flow & Trust YHWH!
Only HE knows the whole of the matter... Only HE knows "Why"
Psa 4:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in YHWH.
Psa 37:3-5 Trust in YHWH, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. (4) Delight thyself also in YHWH; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. (5) Commit thy way unto YHWH; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Psa 27:14 Wait on YHWH: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on YHWH.
Pro 3:5-6 Trust in YHWH with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (6) In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Psa 34:8 O taste and see that YHWH is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
We need to see YHWH's Plan and Purpose for all things if we want to prevail!
Isa 55:8-11 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith YHWH. (9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (10) For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: (11) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Rom 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of YHWH! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Job 5:8-9 I would seek unto Elohim, and unto Elohim would I commit my cause: (9) Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvelous things without number:
Psa 40:4-5 Blessed is that man that maketh YHWH his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. (5) Many, O YHWH my Elohim, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to usward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
Ecc 3:1-11 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: (2) A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; (3) A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; (4) A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; (5) A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; (6) A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; (7) A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; (8) A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. (9) What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboreth? (10) I have seen the travail, which Elohim hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. (11) He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that Elohim maketh from the beginning to the end.
Dan 3:15-28 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that Elohim that shall deliver you out of my hands? (16) Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. (17) If it be so, our Elohim whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. (18) But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy elohim, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. (19) Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. (20) And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. (21) Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. (22) Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. (23) And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. (24) Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spoke, and said unto his counselors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. (25) He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of Elohim. (26) Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spoke, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high Elohim, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire. (27) And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was a hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. (28) Then Nebuchadnezzar spoke, and said, Blessed be the Elohim of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any elohim, except their own Elohim.
Why did YHWSHUA tell Judas "what you do.. do quickly?"
Joh 13:27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said YHWSHUA unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
YHWSHUA knew the plan of YHWH.. It was settled in HIS mind:
Luk 18:31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
Perhaps YHWSHUA knew that if Judas didn't do what he was meant to do that he might change his mind!
Shaul understood the Will of YHWH
Act 21:10-13 And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judea a certain prophet, named Agabus. (11) And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith theSet Apart Spirit, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles. (12) And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem. (13) Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of The Master YHWSHUA.
You have the choice whether to focus on the positive or the negative in every situation!
Mat 12:34-37 ... For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (35) A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. (36) But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. (37) For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Pro 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Eph 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. (Speak the Truth of YHWH instead of foolishness of the flesh!)
