Shabbat Message of
Psa 100:1-5 A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto YHWH, all ye lands. (2) Serve YHWH with gladness: come before his presence with singing. (3) Know ye that YHWH he is Elohim: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. (4) Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. (5) For YHWH is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Be Gratitudes
1Th 5:16-19 - Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of YHWH in Messiah YHWSHUA concerning you. Quench not the Spirit.
We are so accustomed to complaining that our focus is on the negative instead of the positive!
Unthankful
(Luk 18:11) The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, YHWH, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
(Rom 1:21) Because that, when they knew YHWH, they glorified him not as YHWH, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
(2Ti 3:2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
We need to make up our minds that we will see the good in things and not the bad.... (quality decision)
Life is filled with trials, but we can even see these trials as positive since they bring a greater awareness of who we are and growth!
Gracious and Gratitude come from the same root word! SO being gracious to someone is being grateful for who they are and what they do !!
Sometimes it is a sacrifice to be grateful!
(Lev 22:29) And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto YHWH, offer it at your own will.
(2Ch 29:31) Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto YHWH, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of YHWH. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.
(Psa 50:14) Offer unto Elohim thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
(Psa 107:22) And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
(Amo 4:5) And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith The Master YHWH.
(Heb 13:15) By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to YHWH continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Praise and thankfulness go hand in hand
(2Sa 22:50) Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O YHWH, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
(1Ch 16:35) And say ye, Save us, O Elohim of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
(1Ch 16:8) Give thanks unto YHWH, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
(1Ch 23:30) And to stand every morning to thank and praise YHWH, and likewise at even;
(Neh 12:24) And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of Elohim, ward over against ward.
(Jon 2:9) But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of YHWH.
What do We have to be thankful for???

(2Ch 5:13) It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking YHWH; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised YHWH, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth forever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of YHWH;
(1Ki 8:10-13) And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of YHWH, So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of YHWH had filled the house of YHWH. Then spoke Solomon, YHWH said that he would dwell in the thick darkness. I have surely built thee a house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in forever.
· (Joh 14:2) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Gratitude generates humility
Expand on this....
Luk 17:12-19 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, YHWSHUA, Master, have mercy on us.
And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified YHWH, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And YHWSHUA answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to YHWH, save this stranger.
And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
Where are the Grateful today? Where are those who give thanks in All things? Where are those who will rejoice instead of groaning and complaining?
Exercise: Think of a problem for a minute... focus on it.... Now think of something you are grateful for... focus on it... Which one made you feel better? More calm and peaceful? More in tune with YHWH?
· Start thinking about what you DO have instead of what you DON'T have. What are you truly grateful for in your life today?
· Start a gratitude Journal
· There is always something that you can appreciate or be grateful for in every situation, feel gratitude for everything
· Every morning and every night think of 5-10 things you are grateful for!
· First thing when you get out of bed.. look in the mirror and smile (Real big) and say out loud, "This is the day YHWH has made... I WILL rejoice and be thankful for it !!!"
· Maintain that "Attitude of Gratitude" throughout the day (It will cause you to be more positive and eliminate negative thinking from your life. It will help you reduce stress
· Express your gratitude in words ("Faith comes by hearing....")
· Let our gratitude be seen in our actions (IE: Driving our car without care, we break it down... If we were truly thankful for it we would take care of it!)
Conclusion
(Rev 11:17) Saying, We give thee thanks, O YHWH Elohim Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
