a simple conversation with YHWH….. 

 

I hear you in the rustling wind. 

I hear you in the ocean’s roar. 

I hear you in a hummingbird’s flutter. 

I hear you in unspoken word. 

 

I see you in a mountain’s height. 

I see you in a baby’s tear. 

I see you in the tiny ant. 

I see you in the stars so vast. 

 

I feel you in the sun’s warm rays. 

I feel you in the grains of sand. 

I feel you in the finest mist. 

I feel you in the quietest of moments. 

 

You are in the things we can not hear. 

You are in the things we can not see. 

You are in the things we can not feel. 

You are in the things we can not know. 

 

You know me better than I know myself. 

You know what is in my heart. 

You know every desire I hold. 

You know every tear I shed. 

 

I know You are there for I hear You, see You, feel You. 

I know You know me for Your hands have made me. 

I know sometimes I forget why I am here and am sorry. 

I know You want me to know You even a fraction of how you know me. 

 

Knowing You is different than knowing of you. 

Knowing You is more than learning Your ways. 

Knowing You is more than loving You. 

Knowing You is different than needing you. 

 

Preparing to know You is to put aside my fleshly desires. 

Preparing to know You is to submit to Your truth. 

Preparing to know You is to surrender my free will to Your will. 

Preparing to know You is to follow Yahushua Messiah. 

 

How easy it is to over look the wondrous creations of YHWH. 

How easy it is to put myself above You and others. 

How easy it is to trust only in what I see. 

How easy it is to trust in the wisdom of man. 

 

Open my ears that I may truly hear (spiritually). 

Open my eyes that I may see. 

Open my mind that I may know. 

Open my heart that I may love as You. 

 

Take me YHWH as Your clay. 

Take my free will and guide me. 

Take my open mind and teach me. 

Take my open heart and use me.
