Gal 3:23-29 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. (24) Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Messiah, that we might be justified by faith. (25) But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. (26) For ye are all the children of YHWH by faith in Messiah YHWSHUA. (27) For as many of you as have been baptized into Messiah have put on Messiah. (28) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Messiah YHWSHUA. (29) And if ye be Messiah's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Life is a School

Life is a school and we are born on earth to learn specific lessons that we will be able to become Manifested Sons of YHWH. It is a place of instruction for moral and spiritual training.

Every obstacle we come up against in life, is a step toward reaching that goal

1Pe 4:12-13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Messiah's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

As we live our lives we are presented with various tests.

Our principle goal in life is to pass these tests, so we can move to a higher level.

We are here to develop character, integrity, patience, love, kindness, forgiveness, fruits of the spirit.

What is the lesson in this for me? Let's learn instead of complain and go on with our growth!

As we go to higher levels in school the lessons become harder

The higher level of consciousness you reach, the harder the lessons in life will be

So don't beat yourself up when you go through more! Rather rejoice that you are growing...

Like it or not if we fight the changes and don't learn the lessons given to us, the more tribulation will come our way. We are making it harder for ourselves.

We must Wake up, grow up, get it together!

We need to grow up and be aware of what is happening!)

If we understood this every moment...

Life would instantly change!

We would have a better attitude to the trials facing us

Instead of probblems.. we would see opportunities for growth and to see YHWH move on our behalf!

Jeremiah 32:32-33 (KJV)32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 33 And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.

If Life Is A School What Are We Learning?

Some of us are stuck in a rut!

Sometimes we need to unlearn! We have learned many things that may not necessarily lead to our growth.. but actually hinder us!

A young newly married couple, Susan and John were preparing together a dinner party for family and friends. John was preparing an assortment of vegetables while Susan was preparing a delicious roast. As Susan cut off both ends of the roast and placed them in the trash, John asked her why she did this because he thought it was a shame to waste good meat.

Susan told John that her mother taught her to cook it that way and it always tasted delicious. John was experienced at cooking and couldn't understand how cutting the ends off the roast could make it taste better and so when Susan's mom arrived he asked her the same question. Susan's mom replied "I really don't know, I've never thought about it. -- my mother always cooked it that way and it always tastes delicious."

All the guests were seated and the table was filled with an assortment of delicious food. The evening was a great success and everyone commented on how delicious the roast was. John was seated next to Susan's grandmother and couldn't resist asking the question - "Martha, why does cutting the ends of the roast off make it cook better?"

The old lady answered, "Oh it doesn't John." A little puzzled he asked "then why did you always cut them off?" Martha answered, "I always trimmed the ends off the roast so it would fit into my oven tray!"

Purpose of Life's Lessons

John 7:14-17 (KJV)14 Now about the midst of the feast YHWSHUA went up into the temple, and taught. 15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? 16 YHWSHUA answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of YHWH, or whether I speak of myself.

Pro 9:9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

Rom 2:21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? (Not to tell others how to live, but to learn how to live ourselves!)

Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Messiah YHWSHUA:

Act 5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach YHWSHUA Messiah. (How YHWSHUA lived.. and how to become like HIM!)

Ephesians 4:20-24 But ye have not so learned Messiah; 21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in YHWSHUA: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after YHWH is created in righteousness and true holiness.

 

1 Timothy 6:3-5 (KJV)3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Master YHWSHUA Messiah, and to the doctrine which is according to living like YHWH; 4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is Righteousness: from such withdraw thyself.

YHWH's Word Teaches

(Isa 2:3) And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, to the house of the Elohim of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of YHWH from Jerusalem.

(Col 3:16) Let the word of Messiah dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to YHWH.

(2Pe 3:16) As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other Scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Hebrews 8:10-11 (KJV)10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith YHWH; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a Elohim, and they shall be to me a people: 11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know YHWH: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

False Teachers

Mar 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

1Ti 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

2Ti 2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do engender strifes.

2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Tit 1:11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.

2Pe 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying YHWH that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Rev 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

The Spirit of YHWH is our Teacher

1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Joh 6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of YHWH. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Luk 12:12 For the Set Apart Spirit shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Set Apart Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Set Apart Spirit teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Experience is the Greatest Teacher!

“Life is a school... We need to simply pass the tests. Problems are part of the lessons.”

Gen 30:27 And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favor in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that YHWH hath blessed me for thy sake.

Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Tit 2:12 Teaching us that, denying unrighteousness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and like Sons of YHWH, in this present world;

Teach Your Children Well!

Deu 4:9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;

Deu 6:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Deu 11:19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Psa 34:11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of YHWH.

Every day is a new day... let's go on and study hard!

Lam 3:22-23 It is of YHWH's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. (23) They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
