Today's Scripture:
Rth 3:10 And he said, Blessed be thou of YHWH, my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich.
Rth 3:11 And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.
From KJV Dictionary: "Moral goodness; the practice of moral duties and the abstaining from vice, or a conformity of life and conversation to the moral law. In this sense, virtue may be, and in many instances must be, distinguished from religion. The practice of moral duties merely from motives of convenience, or from compulsion, or from regard to reputation, is virtue, as distinct from religion. The practice of moral duties from sincere love to God and his laws, is virtue and religion. In this sense it is true,
That virtue only makes our bliss below.
Virtue is nothing but voluntary obedience to truth."
Greetings in the Name Yahushua!
What motivates you? When you get dressed in the morning, for whom do you dress? When you go out in public, for whom do you dress? When you speak in your home, or in public, whom do you seek to please? Do you speak differently in front of a believing crowd versus a non believing crowd? How deep is our virtue?
Notice with me today, that Ruth, was noticed! She was not noticed because she brought attention to herself, rather, she was noticed because she walked at all times with a pure heart before YHWH.
Whether a daughter or a son of YHWH, as we train up our children before YHWH, may a yearning desire come from deep within us, to be vessels of virtue unto our Most High! May we all be noticed because we reflect HE who dwells within us. May His love and compassion be ours. May His obedience in all things, be ours. And may the rewards that follow, be the desires He has placed within each of us as we fulfill the calling, to be a people of virtue!
I am so thankful for examples in Scripture of those who walked before us, who were pulled from the same sinful world, and learned just as we are daily, and profess just as Ruth did,
Your people, will be my people, and your Elohim, mine!
